Rotating drum and guide system: The cylindrical stainless steel drum is equipped with a spiral guide plate or baffle, which drives the medicinal herbs to roll and rub through the rotation of the drum, removing surface impurities. The drum rotates forward to complete the cleaning of the material, and reverses to allow for secondary processing of the material.
Spray device: High pressure water pump combined with multi-stage spray system (including high-pressure water gun or nozzle), continuously flushes the rolling medicinal materials, and the sediment removal rate can reach over 98%.
Drive mode: The motor is driven through gear transmission or direct drive (variable frequency speed regulation) to control the drum speed (3-25rpm), adapting to the cleaning needs of different hardness medicinal materials.
2. Cleaning process
Medicinal herbs enter the drum from the feeding port, and the spiral guide plate pushes the materials forward while high-pressure water flows to wash away the surface sediment. The transmission system and spray system work together, and after cleaning, the sewage is discharged through a sieve, and the clean medicinal materials are output from the discharge port.
Precautions for operating a drum type washing machine
1. Pre startup inspection
Mechanical safety: manually rotate the drum to confirm there is no obstruction, and check the effectiveness of the protective device of the belt/gear transmission system.
Electrical specifications: Verify that the power supply voltage meets AC380V ± 10%, ensure that the motor wiring is secure, and prohibit wet hand operation.

2. Monitoring during operation
• Sequential start stop: Start the drum host first, and then start the feeding device after stable operation; When shutting down, it is necessary to empty the material before turning off the motor.
• Operating parameters: Control the speed (such as 10-25rpm) and cleaning time (3-15 minutes) to avoid excessive collision and damage to medicinal materials.
• Exception handling: If abnormal noise, vibration, or material accumulation is found, immediately stop the machine and prohibit maintenance during operation.
3. Maintenance and safety
Daily maintenance: Check the tightening status of bolts every shift, clean the sediment in the sedimentation tank, and drain the remaining water in winter to prevent freezing.
Personnel regulations: Operators must wear protective equipment, fatigue work is strictly prohibited, and unauthorized personnel are not allowed to touch the control panel.
Emergency measures: In case of sudden malfunction, immediately cut off the power supply. For electrical fires, use dry powder fire extinguishers and prohibit using water to extinguish them.
