1、 Process principle
1. Mechanical cutting and crushing
Using a specially designed cutting device, the soft capsules are physically cut and crushed by rotating blades. During the cutting process, the capsule and its contents are separated into small particles, which facilitate subsequent recycling and utilization.
2. Centrifugal separation and recovery
The crushed material is guided by an internal guide plate (using a large inclination structure) to flow, and centrifugal force is used to achieve efficient separation of capsule fragments and contents. The slag outlet adopts an internal closure design to prevent debris splashing and ensure centralized material recovery.
3. Integrated structural design
Integrating crushing, separation, and recycling functions, the structure is compact and meets GMP hygiene standards. The equipment is made of stainless steel both inside and outside, which is easy to clean and disinfect, and avoids cross contamination.
2、 Application scenarios
1. Waste recycling in pharmaceutical production
Mainly used to deal with unqualified soft capsules (such as oil leakage and deformed capsules) generated during the production process, effectively recover the active ingredients and capsule shell materials through crushing and separation, and reduce raw material waste.
2. Content reprocessing
The crushed drug suspension or oily content can be reintroduced into the mixing tank and subjected to secondary homogenization treatment by a colloid mill (refined to 1-5 microns) to enhance the stability of subsequent formulations.
3. Process Assistance and Clean Production
As a supporting equipment for the soft capsule production line, it ensures immediate disposal of waste materials, avoids accumulation and pollution of the clean area environment (D-level standard), and simplifies the cleaning process.

Note: It is necessary to distinguish between soft capsule crushers and content preparation equipment (such as colloid mills and airflow crushers), with the latter mainly used for ultrafine grinding of raw materials and homogenization of suspensions.
