Bending is carried out using a complete set of bending equipment, which is divided into two processes: cold bending and hot pushing. Regardless of the type of machinery, equipment, or pipeline, most of them use bent pipes. This product belongs to cold-formed pipes, made of 304 material, mainly used for connecting fixed ends with brass tight fitting to prevent the pipe body from falling off. Bent pipes can be widely used in oil, gas, infusion and other fields.
Below, the editor will briefly introduce the main factors that can affect the quality of bent pipes, as follows:
1. The bendability and surface corrosion of the pipe itself may also affect the quality of the bent pipe.
2. When bending the pipe, the outer side of the material is under tension, while the inner side is under compression. The position of the neutral axis is different from the bending method. In the top bending (compression bending) work, the neutral axis is about 1/3 away from the outer wall, and in the rotary bending (return bending) work, the neutral axis is 2/3 away from the outer wall. Therefore, it is beneficial to use the rotary bending method when bending thin-walled pipelines.
3. Lubrication during the product forming process can also affect the quality of bent pipes.
