Maintenance methods for single cone vacuum dryer
Date: 2025-12-09Read: 7
The key to the maintenance of a single cone vacuum dryer lies in daily inspection, regular maintenance, and standardized operation, which can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and ensure the drying effect.
1. Daily inspection is the foundation. Before each use, it is necessary to check whether all parts of the machine are loose, whether the belt tension is appropriate, and tighten or replace them in a timely manner. After turning on the vacuum pump, carefully check whether there are leaks at the pipeline connections and packing boxes, whether the inlet seal is good, and whether the vacuum gauge responds sensitively. At the same time, check whether all electronic control instruments, buttons, and indicator lights are normal, whether the grounding wire is good, and whether there is any leakage or short circuit phenomenon. In addition, it is necessary to check whether the body is clean, jog to check whether the cone rotation direction is correct, and whether the idle sound is normal.
2. Regular maintenance is essential. It is recommended to clean the filter and replace the sealing ring every week, check the insulation resistance of the motor and calibrate the temperature control system every month, and conduct a comprehensive inspection of the wear of the screw belt every quarter. If necessary, replace vulnerable parts. High temperature lubricating grease should be added to the transmission bearings every 200 hours, and attention should be paid to observing the oil window level. The inlet of the vacuum pump needs to be equipped with a dust filter, and the replacement cycle of the filter element should not exceed 300 hours. Regularly check the quality of the vacuum pump oil and replace or add oil as needed, while checking various parameters of the vacuum system, such as vacuum degree, leakage rate, etc.
3. Standardized operations are important. Operators are not allowed to leave their posts during equipment operation, and any abnormal situations should be promptly stopped for handling. To avoid overload operation, the single feeding amount should not exceed 80% of the rated capacity. When shutting down, first turn off the heating system and wait for the temperature to drop below 60 ℃ before stopping the vacuum. If not used for a long time, all components should be cleaned thoroughly, especially the sealing strip of the oven door, to prevent aging.
4. Common issues need to be noted. When there is a decrease in vacuum degree, priority should be given to checking whether the vacuum pipeline is leaking, whether the screw belt is stuck and causing seal failure, and whether the vacuum pump oil is emulsified or deteriorated. If the material is not dried evenly, it is recommended to check the wear of the screw belt, adjust the feed humidity to a reasonable range, and calibrate the temperature sensor. For vacuum system failures, it is necessary to check whether the sealing gasket is aged/damaged, whether the vacuum pipeline is leaking, whether the vacuum sand core filter rod is blocked, and whether the vacuum pump is abnormal.
