Overview
Concentration is a core process in many industrial processes, and traditional atmospheric concentration has drawbacks such as high temperature, high energy consumption, and easy destruction of thermosensitive components. The vacuum depressurization concentration tank establishes a negative pressure environment to lower the boiling point of the material (such as the boiling point of water at -0.08MPa is about 45 ℃), achieving efficient evaporation under low temperature conditions. At present, this equipment has become the primary technology for pharmaceutical extract concentration, food juice concentration, and chemical intermediate processing, with energy consumption reduced by more than 40% compared to atmospheric concentration.
Equipment structure composition
The vacuum depressurization and concentration tank is mainly composed of the following components:
Concentrator tank: vertical or horizontal structure, usually made of SUS304/316L stainless steel, with a volume ranging from 0.5-10m ³, equipped with jacket or coil heating
Condenser: a tube or plate condenser used to condense and evaporate solvent vapors
Vacuum system: Water ring vacuum pump, Roots pump or hydraulic jet pump, maintaining the system vacuum degree (usually -0.06 to -0.095MPa)
Separators: vapor-liquid separation devices to prevent material leakage
Control system: PLC automatically controls parameters such as vacuum degree and temperature

working principle
The material is concentrated in the tank through the following process:
Vacuum pumping: Start the vacuum pump to reduce the pressure inside the tank to the set value
Heating: Indirect heating of materials by introducing steam or hot water
Evaporation: The boiling point of the material liquid decreases under low pressure, and the solvent evaporates rapidly
Condensation: The evaporated solvent vapor is condensed and recovered by a condenser
Concentrate collection: After reaching the desired concentration, release the vacuum and discharge the concentrate
Technical features: Increased heat transfer temperature difference and improved evaporation rate in a vacuum environment; Low temperature operation protects thermosensitive components; Closed systems reduce solvent loss and environmental pollution.
technical advantage
Low temperature evaporation: effectively protects thermosensitive ingredients, such as active pharmaceutical ingredients, food nutrients, etc
Energy saving and efficient: low evaporation temperature, high heat utilization rate, energy consumption reduced by 30-50% compared to atmospheric concentration
High concentration ratio: One concentration can reach a higher concentration (such as Chinese medicine extract can be concentrated to a relative density of 1.2-1.35)
Flexible operation: intermittent or continuous operation, suitable for multi variety and small batch production

Application field
Pharmaceutical industry: concentration of traditional Chinese medicine extract, concentration of antibiotic fermentation broth, concentration of vitamins, etc
Food industry: juice concentration, whey concentration, seasoning concentration, etc
Chemical industry: organic solvent recovery, dye intermediate concentration, environmental wastewater treatment, etc
Bioengineering: Enzyme concentration, microbial metabolite extraction, etc
