The blade dryer achieves the purpose of drying by contacting a heat carrier with the material that needs to be dried. The common heat carrier is usually steam, and it is dried by stirring the blades in a blade dryer. Next, let's introduce the installation and debugging of the blade dryer.
Before installation, check if all components are intact and clean the interior thoroughly.
2. After installation in place and before commissioning, check whether the bearing seat has been filled with lubricating grease, or add proper amount of lubricating grease. Generally, No. 2 molybdenum disulfide compound calcium base grease or other suitable grease with high temperature resistance shall be used.
Before installing the rotary joint, carefully read the "User Manual" of the rotary joint and install it correctly to prevent damage to the sealing gasket.
4. Pressure gauges and stabilizing devices should be installed on the inlet pipelines of heating or cooling media. A safety valve must be installed before the entrance to prevent equipment from working under overpressure. The temperature of the heating medium shall not exceed the rated operating temperature.
5. When installing the rotary joint with a single end configuration at the end of the shaft, attention should be paid to ensuring that the surface within 200 millimeters of the connecting pipe end extending into its inner cavity is smooth, without holes, rust, slag, or scars, and can meet the sealing requirements for the heating (or cooling) medium, and the size is appropriate. Like the installation of rotary joints on both ends, the entire machine can only be debugged after pressure testing to ensure no leakage.
6. Check and debug gear transmission or chain transmission to meet mechanical transmission requirements.
7. Conduct safety inspections on the motor and electrical components of the blade dryer. Touch the motor power switch, the motor and transmission components should have no jamming phenomenon, and confirm that the main shaft is rotating correctly (the tip of the blade should face forward when rotating).
8. Start the motor and let the blade dryer run smoothly without any abnormal noise. For those equipped with speed regulation devices, speed regulation should be carried out within an adjustable range, and acceleration should be slowly carried out to check whether the speed regulation characteristics meet the requirements. The no-load operation shall not be less than 30 minutes.
9. Gradually heat or cool, observe the operation, and make the heat or cold source reach the operating parameters. Equipment with cooling protection devices must open the cooling water valve before steam is supplied. Gradually add materials, observe and check the drying condition of the materials, and continuously adjust the feeding amount, heat (cold) source amount, discharge amount, and speed as needed. After meeting the design requirements, it can be put into normal operation.
