1. Structural differences
(1) The inlet direction of the flash dryer is tangential, and the rotational wind speed in the drying section is determined by the inlet wind speed, which is always an indefinite value. The rotational wind speed of the ultrafine powder dryer is powered by the high-speed rotating crushing disk, which is not affected by system interference, thus ensuring reliable production and stable product quality.
(2) Boiling dryer uses a control valve to regulate the heating of air through a heat exchanger. Due to the action of air pressure, the material is instantly dried. At the same time, multi-layer filters are used, which are efficient, safe, and reliable in quality
(3) The use of a special noise reduction device in the boiling dryer reduces production noise, is environmentally friendly and scientific, and provides convenience for finding production sites.
(4) The grading device of the boiling dryer is a rotating device with adjustable speed, while the grading device of the flash evaporator is actually just a grading ring. Although the rotary flash dryer has also been improved, its grading ability is still inferior to that of the super boiling dryer.
2. Application scope
(1) Boiling dryer for powdered and granular materials in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food.
(2) Flash drying machine is only used for liquid internal materials
3. Differences in performance
(1) The boiling dryer operates under closed negative pressure, and the airflow is filtered for easy operation and cleaning, making it an ideal equipment that meets the requirements of GMP. The mixing can be freely set to avoid the aggregation of wet materials and the formation of channel flow during drying, which is convenient and easy to operate. The fineness of the material in the flash dryer can only reach a certain degree and cannot be further controlled.
(2) Due to its superior crushing function and wide application range compared to flash evaporation machines, the boiling dryer has a higher output and finer product particle size.
(3) The boiling dryer has a significantly higher thermal efficiency in drying than the flash evaporator, resulting in significant energy savings. However, the flash drying machine can effectively control the final moisture content and fineness. By adjusting the feeding, hot air temperature, and classifier, it ensures that the moisture content and fineness of the product are uniform and consistent. This is a special advantage of flash drying machines.
