The pulse air flow dryer adopts pulse air flow tubes as an enhanced heat transfer structure. By changing the relative velocity between the material and the heat medium, the heat and mass transfer process is strengthened, and the rapid removal of moisture from the material is achieved. Pulse airflow dryers are divided into two types: single-stage pulse airflow dryers and two-stage pulse airflow dryers. For materials with high initial moisture content, if a single-stage pulse airflow dryer cannot meet the final moisture requirements of the product, a two-stage series connection can be used to form a two-stage pulse airflow dryer.
Working principle of pulse airflow dryer:
Wet materials enter the dryer simultaneously with heated natural air through the conveyor, and the two are fully mixed due to the large heat and mass exchange area, thus achieving the purpose of evaporation drying in a very short time. The dried finished product is discharged from the cyclone separator, and a small portion of the micro powder is recycled by the cyclone dust collector or bag filter.
Characteristics of pulse airflow dryer:
1. High drying intensity and low equipment investment: The airflow drying equipment has the largest processing capacity, with a water evaporation capacity ranging from 50kg/h-2000kgh, while the equipment has a small capacity and low investment.
2. High degree of automation and good product quality: The airflow drying process is entirely carried out in pipelines, with a short drying time (only 0.5-2 seconds). Therefore, automation can be achieved, and the product does not come into contact with the outside world, resulting in minimal pollution and good quality.
3. Complete equipment supply, free selection of heat source: The basic model consists of an air filter, heater, feeder, drying pipe, fan, and cyclone separator. Users can purchase dust collectors or other auxiliary equipment as needed.
4. In terms of heating method selection, airflow drying equipment has great adaptability. Users can choose steam, electricity, thermal oil, or hot air stove heating according to the conditions in their region. At the same time, they can also choose according to the material's heat-resistant temperature (or hot air temperature): when ≤ 150 ℃, steam heating can be used. When ≤ 200 ℃, electric heating (or steam heating, electric compensation, or thermal oil heating) can be used; When the temperature is ≤ 300 ℃, coal-fired hot blast stove; When the temperature is below 600 ℃. Oil fired hot blast stove. A has a short drying time and is suitable for heat sensitive materials. The finished product does not come into contact with the outside world, is pollution-free, and has good quality.
5. The equipment is provided as a complete set, and the heat source can be selected from steam heating or matched with coal-fired, oil fired, gas-fired hot air stoves, etc.
6. Basic airflow drying equipment, suitable for materials that are loose, have low viscosity, and are finished as particles or powders. This process is illustrated as negative pressure airflow drying, and users can choose a positive pressure drying method based on product characteristics.
