Operation process of rotary flash dryer:
1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the power, gas, and cooling water systems are functioning properly and grounded reliably; Clean up residual materials in the drying room and ensure that the air duct is unobstructed.
Check if the fan blades are turning correctly, the bag filter is not damaged, and the pulse blowback pressure needs to reach 4-5kg/cm ².
2. Material handling
Remove large particles from the material to be dried and control the moisture content to meet the feeding standards.
3. Security protection
Operators are required to wear dust masks, heat-resistant gloves, and protective goggles; Clear flammable materials from the work area and prepare fire-fighting equipment.
2、 Startup and operation
1. System startup
Strictly follow the sequence: start the induced draft fan → blower → mixing motor → pulse blowback system.
Turn on the air compressor and adjust the compressed air pressure to 0.5-0.6MPa.
2. Temperature control
Slowly heat up to the target inlet temperature (150-400 ℃), and start feeding when the outlet temperature reaches 90-100 ℃.
3. Feed adjustment
Feed at a constant speed through a spiral feeder and dynamically adjust according to the outlet temperature:
• High temperature → Increase feed rate
• Low temperature → Reduce feed rate.
Maintain the temperature of the mixing chamber within the range of 60-120 ℃.
3、 Operation monitoring and shutdown
1. Key parameters
Continuously monitor the inlet/outlet air temperature, system pressure, and material fluidity; Regular sampling and testing of moisture content.
2. Exception handling
• Export temperature fluctuations: adjust the feed rate or heating power;
Bag powder: Immediately inspect and replace damaged bags;
Sudden increase in system pressure: Emergency power outage evacuation, risk of explosion and combustion.
3. Shutdown steps
• Turn off the feed → stop heating → run without load for 10-15 minutes to blow off the remaining material;
When the inlet air temperature drops below 60 ℃, stop the blower → induced draft fan → mixing motor in sequence.
