In industries such as chemical, food, and pharmaceutical,Vibration fluidized bed dryerDue to its high efficiency in mass and heat transfer, as well as strong adaptability to materials, it has become a popular choice for drying granular/powder materials. But how to accurately select equipment with a wide variety of models on the market? The following five key points need to be focused on.

1、 Matching material characteristics is the foundation
There are significant differences in particle size (such as 0.1-10mm), density (light materials are prone to flying, heavy materials are prone to sedimentation), moisture content (initial high requires long residence time), and thermal sensitivity (such as vitamins requiring low temperature) among different materials. For example, materials with high viscosity are prone to clumping, and it is necessary to choose equipment with adjustable vibration intensity (amplitude 5-10mm is suitable) to prevent material blockage; Thermally sensitive materials require control of the inlet air temperature (such as ≤ 80 ℃) and the use of low-temperature heat sources. In addition, corrosive materials (such as those containing acid components) require contact parts to be made of 316L stainless steel or special coatings to avoid corrosion and affect the service life.
2、 Key parameters need to be quantitatively validated
Capacity, energy consumption, and drying effect are hard indicators. Firstly, verify whether the nominal production capacity of the equipment matches the actual demand (it is recommended to leave 10% -20% redundancy), in order to avoid wasting energy by "pulling a cart with a big horse". Secondly, pay attention to unit energy consumption (such as the electricity consumption per kWh for evaporating 1kg of water), and high-quality models can reduce energy consumption by 15% -30% by optimizing airflow distribution. Drying uniformity is another key point: it is necessary to confirm whether the equipment has a uniform air plate design (such as a porous plate with a porosity of 30% -50%), whether it supports zone temperature control (temperature difference between the upper and lower layers ≤ 5 ℃), and if necessary, request the manufacturer to provide drying curve test data for similar materials.
3、 Structural design determines stability
The reliability of vibration systems directly affects their ability to operate continuously. Prioritize the use of dual motor self synchronous exciters (to avoid single motor failure shutdown), and check whether the shock absorber spring is made of high-temperature resistant rubber or metal material (to prevent aging and fracture). It is recommended to choose 304/316 stainless steel (thickness ≥ 6mm) for the bed material, and the welding joints should be polished to prevent material accumulation. In addition, observe the sealing design of the inlet and outlet ports (such as silicone soft connections) to avoid dust leakage and pollution of the workshop environment.
4、 The service capability of manufacturers cannot be ignored
Installation, debugging, and after-sales response are crucial in the lifecycle of equipment. Priority should be given to examining whether the manufacturer has experience in similar projects (on-site case videos may be requested), and specifying the warranty period (usually 1-2 years for core components). Do you provide free operation training? How long is the supply cycle for vulnerable parts such as screen mesh and sealing rings? Can remote diagnostic systems monitor equipment status in real-time? These details can significantly reduce later operation and maintenance costs.
5、 Compliance certification ensures safety bottom line
The pharmaceutical and food industries need to focus on verifying whether the equipment complies with GMP, FDA and other standards, such as ensuring that the parts in contact with materials have no hygiene dead corners and that the welds are smooth and washable; In the chemical industry, it is necessary to confirm explosion-proof design (such as ExdIIBT4Gb certification) and anti-static measures (grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω). In addition, environmental requirements (such as exhaust dust emissions ≤ 10mg/m ³) also need to be confirmed with the manufacturer in advance for dust removal matching schemes (such as cyclone+bag type secondary dust removal).
