The trough mixer is used to mix powdered or wet materials, ensuring uniform mixing of different proportions of main and auxiliary materials. It is widely used for dry powder mixing in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, and electronics.
The trough mixer is mainly composed of five components. Below, the editor will briefly introduce them to you:
1. Reverse material reducer
The reversing reducer is used to control the positioning angle of the mixing tank. It is located on the left side of the tank type mixer. During operation, it is driven by an electric motor installed in the machine base through a triangular belt to drive the worm and worm wheel, which drives the mixing tank to rotate within a certain angle range, allowing the mixture to be poured out at once.
2. Mixing tank
The mixing tank of the trough type mixer is U-shaped, made of stainless steel, and equipped with a stirring blade. It lies horizontally on the stirring reducer and the feeding reducer.
3. Electrical control box
The electrical control box controls the movement of the slot mixer.
4. Machine base and motor device
The machine base is an integral structure, and the electric motor is installed on the movable plates on both sides of the slot type mixer machine base. The upper and lower parts of the electric motor can be adjusted with screws to provide a certain degree of tension to the V-belt and maintain the transmission force.
5. Mixing reducer
The mixing reducer system is the main transmission structure of the trough mixer, located on the right side of the trough mixer. During operation, it is driven by a motor installed in the machine seat through a triangular belt to drive the worm and worm gear, and drives the mixer at a speed of 1:40. The worm gear shaft is hollow and equipped with fixed keys, allowing the mixing blade to be freely installed and removed. There are two circular screws installed on the top of the reducer for assembly, disassembly, and installation purposes. The end cover is equipped with a screw for positioning the high-speed mixing blade, which has been adjusted at the factory and generally does not need to be adjusted again during use.
