High speed mixing granulator is a key equipment used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and feed to mix powdered raw materials and make granules. Proper operation and maintenance of the equipment are crucial for ensuring production efficiency and product quality. The following are the main precautions when using a high-speed mixing granulator, covering operating standards, maintenance points, and common problem prevention.
1、 Preparation work before operation
1. Equipment cleaning inspection: Before starting up, thoroughly clean the inner walls and surfaces of the equipment to avoid residue affecting product quality. Wiping with 75% alcohol can effectively disinfect and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
2. Compressed air pressure regulation: Check and ensure that the air pressure is stable at around 0.6MPa. Excessive or insufficient air pressure can affect the stability of equipment operation.
3. Component flexibility verification: Focus on checking the rotational flexibility of the mixing blade, cutting blade, and discharge piston. If any abnormalities are found, they should be promptly repaired or replaced to prevent malfunctions during operation.
4. Sealing test: Verify the airtightness of the sealing ring of the pot cover and discharge port to ensure no leakage, in order to avoid material leakage or contamination during the production process.
2、 Key points during the operation process
1. Raw material ratio and humidity control: The ratio of raw materials directly affects the particle quality and needs to be accurately weighed according to product requirements. Humidity control is particularly crucial. If it is too high, it will cause loose particles, while if it is too low, it is easy to clump. Generally, the moisture content should be maintained at around 14% after tempering.
2. Uniform feeding: The feeding speed should be uniform to avoid material accumulation or running on one side. By adjusting the position of the feeding scraper, the material can be evenly distributed in the ring mold, improving granulation efficiency and particle consistency.
3. Avoid overload operation: Strictly control the current load. Long term overload production can accelerate equipment wear and even cause malfunctions. Real time monitoring of current fluctuations is required during operation, and any abnormalities should be immediately stopped for inspection.
4. Safety operation regulations: It is prohibited to clean materials by hand during equipment operation to prevent mechanical injury. If material blockage occurs, the pressure roller must be loosened and the inner wall of the mold must be cleaned before restarting. Forced starting is strictly prohibited.
3、 Maintenance and upkeep after operation
1. Daily cleaning: After production is completed, promptly clean the residues inside the equipment, use wet towels and brushes to clean the hopper and rotating parts, and if necessary, rinse with purified water and air dry to ensure no cross contamination.
2. Lubrication management: Regularly add lubricating grease to the pressure roller and transmission components. The pressure roller needs to be lubricated every 2 hours under normal working conditions to reduce friction and extend its service life.
3. Regularly inspect vulnerable parts, including mixing blades, cutting knives, and sealing rings. Parts with severe wear should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid sudden failures affecting production.
4. Long term shutdown treatment: If the equipment is idle for a long time, it is necessary to apply anti rust oil on the surface that is prone to rust and cover it with a protective cover to prevent environmental corrosion.
4、 Common problem prevention
1. Difficulty in particle discharge: It may be caused by mismatched compression ratio of the ring mold or rough inner hole, and it is necessary to check the state of the ring mold and adjust the parameters.
2. Abnormal equipment vibration: usually caused by loose spindle or component wear, the machine should be stopped immediately for maintenance, and loose components should be tightened.
3. Production reduction: Check the gap between the pressure roller and the ring mold. If it is too tight or too loose, it will affect the discharge efficiency and needs to be adjusted according to the standard spacing of 0.2-0.5mm.
By following the above precautions, operators can significantly improve the operating efficiency and product quality of high-speed mixing granulators, while reducing equipment failure rates. Regular maintenance and operation training are key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of equipment.
