Practical guide for cleaning and replacing vulnerable parts of the inner chamber of the electric constant temperature incubator
Date: 2025-12-05Read: 7
As a commonly used equipment in laboratories, the cleanliness of the internal environment and the operational status of the electric constant temperature incubator are crucial for the accuracy of experimental results. Therefore, regular cleaning of the inner chamber and replacement of vulnerable parts are key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the incubator. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the practical steps for cleaning the inner chamber of an electric constant temperature incubator and replacing vulnerable parts, to help laboratory staff better maintain the equipment.
1、 Cleaning of Equipment Inner Container
1. Preparation: Before cleaning the inner chamber, turn off the power of the incubator and wait for the box to cool to room temperature. Meanwhile, prepare the necessary cleaning tools such as soft cloth, sponge, neutral cleaner, distilled water, etc.
2. Cleaning the inner container: Dip a soft cloth or sponge in an appropriate amount of neutral detergent, gently wipe the surface of the inner container to remove stains and residues. For difficult to remove stains, a small amount of distilled water can be used to assist in cleaning. Be careful to avoid using highly corrosive cleaning agents to prevent damage to the inner container material.
3. Rinse and dry: After cleaning, rinse the inner container with distilled water to remove all residual cleaning agents. Subsequently, use a clean soft cloth to dry the inner container, or place it in a well ventilated area to air dry naturally. Ensure that the inner container is dry before closing the box door.
4. Disinfection treatment: To further improve the cleanliness of the incubator, ultraviolet lamps or ozone generators can be used to disinfect the inner chamber. During the disinfection process, it is necessary to operate according to the requirements of the equipment manual to ensure safety and effectiveness.
2、 Replacement of vulnerable parts of equipment
1. Heating element replacement: The heating element isElectric constant temperature incubatorOne of the core components may experience aging or damage after prolonged use. When the heating temperature is found to be abnormal or unable to reach the set value, check whether the heating element needs to be replaced. When replacing, it is necessary to first disconnect the power supply, remove the old heating element, then install the new heating element according to the specifications and models in the manual, and ensure that the connection is firm and reliable.
2. Temperature sensor replacement: The temperature sensor is responsible for monitoring temperature changes inside the incubator and providing feedback to the control system. If the temperature display is inaccurate or fluctuates greatly, it may be a malfunction of the temperature sensor. At this point, it is necessary to dismantle the old sensor, install a new temperature sensor, and perform calibration and debugging to ensure measurement accuracy.
3. Fan replacement: The fan plays a role in circulating air in the incubator, ensuring even temperature distribution inside the incubator. If the fan is not running properly or has excessive noise, it should be checked and replaced in a timely manner. When replacing the fan, it is necessary to first remove the old fan, then install the new fan according to the instructions, and adjust the wind speed and direction.
4. Replacement of other vulnerable parts: In addition to the main vulnerable parts mentioned above, there are also some other components that need to be regularly inspected and replaced, such as door locks, sealing strips, lighting fixtures, etc. Although these components are not core components, their normal operation is also related to the overall performance and user experience of the incubator.
