The role of the electrolyte in lithium battery cells is to conduct ions between the positive and negative electrodes, acting as a medium for charging and discharging, just like the blood in the human body. It is very important to ensure that the electrolyte is injected into the battery cell with standard precision and infiltrates the positive and negative electrodes. Due to the fact that the amount of electrolyte injected in some injection processes is a very critical process, injecting too much or too little electrolyte directly affects the performance of the battery. Briefly describe the following formula:
Injection volume=battery capacity X (cobalt lithium, iron lithium, manganese lithium) material system
Volume X electrolyte density=theoretical dosage
1. Different positive electrode material systems have varying demands for electrolyte content. High voltage density lithium cobalt oxide positive electrode system batteries have the highest capacity but the lowest electrolyte demand among cells of the same size; Low compacted density lithium manganese oxide and lithium iron phosphate positive electrode system batteries have lower capacity and the highest demand for electrolyte.
2. The internal anode of the battery decreases with the increase of electrolyte volume, while the capacity increases with the increase of electrolyte volume. When the amount of electrolyte is too small, the battery will have a high anode and a low capacity; When the amount of electrolyte reaches a certain level, the internal yang and capacity tend to stabilize.
3. The amount of electrolyte has a significant impact on the cycling performance and overcharge resistance of the battery. When the amount of electrolyte is too much or too little, the cycling performance and safety performance are poor. Due to the strong corrosiveness and precision of electrolyte injection, in order to meet special requirements. Jikel produces different types of lithium batteries for lithium battery enterprises, such as EV power soft pack batteries, polymer 3C batteries, cylindrical 18650 batteries, aluminum shell batteries, plastic power batteries, etc., with different precision ceramic injection pumps corresponding to the required injection volume. For example:
A: For 3C polymer soft pack batteries with high precision requirements and small injection volume, we have specially developed a single stroke ceramic injection pump with a single head between 0.1g-1g or a double head ceramic injection pump suitable for automatic injection machines.
B: For cylindrical 18650 batteries, the injection capacity is between 5.7-5.8g. Gickel has specifically developed single head ceramic injection pumps with a single pass capacity of up to 6.5g, or double head ceramic injection pumps and multi head ceramic injection pumps suitable for automatic injection machines.
C. If the one-time injection volume of power batteries is between tens of grams or hundreds of grams, Gikel has specially developed ceramic injection pumps with high stroke volume, which have multiple specifications. Generally, Gikel's conventional single pass configuration includes models such as max100g, max300g, max500g, etc.
D. For micro button batteries with a micro battery injection volume of 0.05 grams, Gickel has specifically developed a ceramic injection pump with a single pass of up to 500mg: (The stroke amount of the ceramic injection pump is adjustable from the maximum to the minimum value of the maximum to the minimum)
