How to extend the service life of stainless steel pressure tanks?
1、 Daily usage standards
1. Proper handling and placement
When transporting, use a cart or fixed bracket. Do not drag the tank to avoid mechanical damage caused by collision or tipping.
When storing, keep the tank upright and place it in a cool, well ventilated environment, away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and humid areas.
2. Filling operation requirements
When filling the medium for the first time, it should be slowly injected to avoid thermal stress damage to the tank material caused by sudden temperature changes.
Regularly check the liquid level or pressure to avoid the medium in the tank being too low or too full, and to prevent materials from accelerating aging due to pressure imbalance.
 2、 Regular maintenance and inspection
1. Sealing and pressure monitoring
Regularly inspect the welds, valves, and pressure gauges of the tank body to ensure good sealing and no leakage; If abnormal vacuum or pressure is found (such as an increase in evaporation rate), it should be repaired in a timely manner.
Clean the surface and internal residues of the tank to prevent dirt or frost from affecting the insulation performance and material stability.
 2. Accessories and System Maintenance
Use original or certified high-quality accessories (such as sealing rings, valves) to avoid a decrease in tank performance due to component degradation.
Check the grounding of electrical components (such as pressure sensors) to prevent static electricity accumulation or short circuit risks.
3、 Safety protection and operation training
1Personal protective measures
Wear antifreeze gloves, goggles, and enclosed footwear during operation to avoid direct contact with low-temperature media or high-pressure spray risks.
2Standardize operational procedures
Strictly follow the equipment manual to set pressure thresholds and operating procedures, and prohibit overpressure operation or manual intervention in the operating system.
Regularly conduct safety training to ensure that operators master emergency response measures.
4、 Long term storage and record management
1Pre processing before discontinuation
Before long-term shutdown, the medium inside the tank should be emptied, the tank should be cleaned and dried to prevent residue from corroding the inner wall.
2Maintain record management
Establish maintenance files to record the inspection time, problems, and repair measures for each inspection, in order to track the status of the tank.
Through the above measures, the mechanical wear, material aging, and accidental damage of stainless steel pressure tanks can be effectively reduced, significantly extending their service life.
