The operating steps and precautions for the laboratory circulating water vacuum pump are as follows:
1、 Operation steps
1. First use preparation
Open the top cover of the water tank and inject clean cool water to the lower edge of the overflow nozzle (about 15 liters). It is strictly prohibited to start without water.
Check the power connection, mechanical seal, and pipeline sealing, and add lubricating oil if necessary.
2. Device connection and startup
Connect the exhaust sleeve tightly to the reaction device to ensure no air leakage.
After turning off the cycle switch, turn on the power and observe the vacuum gauge value (normally up to 0.098 MPa).
3. Operation monitoring
Adjust the water inlet to the minimum effective value through a spherical valve to avoid motor overload.
If the increase in water temperature affects the vacuum degree, tap water circulation can be connected for cooling.
4. Shutdown and maintenance
Before turning off the power, disconnect the exhaust device to prevent backflow.
Replace the water tank every week, clean the filter screen regularly, and check the wear of the impeller.
2、 Key precautions
1. Water quality management: Use distilled water or deionized water to avoid impurities blocking the pipeline.
2. Safety protection: Do not extract dust or solid substances to prevent damage to the pump body.
3. Troubleshooting: When the vacuum degree decreases, it is necessary to check for air leaks, impeller clearances, or foreign object blockages.
