The operation method of the lifting glass reaction kettle mainly includes three key stages: installation and commissioning, operation control, and final treatment. Safety regulations must be strictly followed to avoid risks such as overpressure and overheating. Here are the detailed steps:
1、 Installation and Debugging
1. Choose a stable and flat experimental platform to place the reaction kettle, with sufficient operating space reserved around it, away from heat and water sources.
2. Assemble the main frame and place the cork support ring on the tray; Rotate the handwheel to the left to lower the pot body bracket to the lowest point, open the pot body fixing flange, and carefully place the glass pot body on the cork support ring.
3. Adjust the flange height, tighten the kettle body with the flange, and seal the neck with a silicone ring; When installing the mixing blade, thread it through the sealed part of the kettle cover until it is fixed in place.
4. After installation, plug in the power plug, place the frequency converter switch in the OFF position, and check whether the mixing system and heating/cooling components are operating normally.
2、 Operation control
1. Before adding materials, ensure that the solid is pre ground and the liquid is slowly poured into the feed inlet; For volatile or toxic materials, it is necessary to operate in a well ventilated area and wear protective equipment.
2. The liquid level should not exceed 2/3 of the kettle body to prevent overflow or abnormal pressure.
3. Set the stirring speed (adjusted according to homogeneous or heterogeneous conditions), start the stirrer to promote thorough mixing of the reactants; When heating or cooling, precise temperature control is achieved by introducing a medium (such as thermal oil or coolant) through the interlayer.
4. Closely monitor material color, precipitation, or bubble changes during operation, and record temperature and duration; The heating process should be gradually increased to avoid overheating (such as strictly prohibiting the addition of moisture to thermal oil).
3、 Closing and maintenance
1. After the reaction is complete, stop stirring and heating/cooling the system first, and allow it to cool naturally to room temperature before disassembling.
2. Collect materials through the discharge valve and thoroughly rinse the kettle body with solvent to ensure that there is no residual liquid accumulation in the interlayer; After cleaning, dry or blow dry it for next use.
3. Regularly check the swing and sealing components of the mixing shaft, and replace worn parts in a timely manner to extend the service life of the equipment.
Caution: It is strictly prohibited to disassemble or operate under pressure or over temperature; The corrosiveness of the reaction medium needs to be pre evaluated (such as special customization for chloride ions); The temperature setting cannot be changed to prevent overshoot.
