Proper use of small molecule injectors can achieve 24-hour stable controlled release
Date: 2025-09-19Read: 4

In today's rapidly developing field of precision medicine and home health management, patch type small molecule syringes, as an innovative drug delivery device, are gradually changing the traditional injection mode. It integrates the micro needle array and the sustained release drug storehouse into the thin and light patch, and realizes the painless, continuous and accurate delivery of small molecule drugs through the cuticle of the skin, bringing more comfortable and convenient treatment experience for patients with diabetes, chronic pain, hormone replacement and other diseases.

Compared with traditional subcutaneous injection, patch type small molecule syringes do not require handheld syringes, reducing fear and operational errors, and can achieve 24-hour stable controlled release, avoiding the "peak valley effect" of blood drug concentration. Its correct use is the key to ensuring efficacy and safety.

Step 1: Preparation before use
Check the product: Confirm that the packaging is intact, within the expiration date, and that the medication is clear and free of sediment.
Clean the skin: Select areas with moderate fat layer, no hair, and no damage such as the abdomen, upper arms, or outer thighs, wipe them with an alcohol swab, and let them air dry naturally.
Suitable environment: Avoid using in high temperature, humidity, or before exercise to prevent patch detachment or drug leakage.
Step 2: Apply and activate
Tear off backing: Carefully tear off the patch protective film to avoid touching the microneedle area.
Flat attachment: Place the patch tightly against the skin and gently press it with your palm for 10-15 seconds to ensure that the edges are tight and prevent displacement.
Start injection: Some models require manual activation (such as pressing the start button), while the smart model can be remotely started by connecting to a mobile app via Bluetooth, setting the injection rate and dosage.
Step 3: Wearing and Monitoring
Keep dry: Avoid swimming, bathing, or excessive sweating, and use waterproof film for protection.
Observation reaction: Regularly check whether there is redness, itching, or allergies in the application area, and stop using it in a timely manner if there are any abnormalities.
Equipment prompt: Pay attention to the indicator light or APP reminder, confirm the injection progress, remaining dosage, and fault alarm (such as blockage, leakage).
Step 4: Removal and Disposal
Replace on time: Remove the patch according to the doctor's prescribed time (such as every 24 hours), and do not use it beyond the expiration date.
Safe removal: Slowly remove from the edge, avoiding pulling the skin. Some models have a safety recycling mechanism to prevent needle exposure.
Standardized disposal: Put the used patches into a dedicated sharp tool box or sealed container, dispose of them as medical waste, and do not dispose of them casually.
