Sodium carbonate with a purity of over 99.5%, also known as soda ash, belongs to the category of salts and is widely used as a food additive and in daily washing. This report uses atomic absorption flame method to analyze calcium and magnesium impurities in soda ash, where calcium needs to be added to a 0.2% lanthanum solution to eliminate matrix interference.
