Characteristics of Tunnel Microwave Sterilizer

1. Fast heating speed

Conventional heating methods such as flames, hot air, electric heating, steam, etc. all use the principle of thermal conduction to transfer heat from the outside to the inside of the object being heated, gradually increasing the temperature at the center of the material, which is called external heating. It takes some time to reach the desired temperature in the central area, and materials with poor thermal conductivity require even longer time.

Microwave heating is an internal heating method that turns the heating material into a heating element, without the need for thermal conduction. It heats both the inside and outside simultaneously, thus achieving the heating effect in multiple times.

2. Uniform heating

Conventional heating requires an increase in heating temperature to improve heating speed, which can easily lead to the phenomenon of external coke generation. When microwave heating is used, electromagnetic waves can usually penetrate all parts of the object uniformly, generating heat and greatly improving uniformity.

3. Energy saving

In microwave heating, microwave energy can only be attracted by the heated object itself and generate heat. The walls of the heating chamber, the air inside the heating chamber, and the corresponding containers do not generate heat, so the thermal effect * and the environment are significantly improved.

4. Easy to control

The thermal inertia of microwave heating is extremely small, and if equipped with microcomputer control, it is particularly suitable for the automation control of the heating process and heating technology.

5. Sterilization and pollution-free

Microwave energy itself does not contaminate food, and it has a dual bactericidal effect of thermal and non thermal effects, which can kill bacteria at lower temperatures. This provides a heating sterilization method that can preserve the nutritional content of food to a greater extent.

6. Selective heating

Microwaves have different effects on substances of different properties, which is beneficial for drying operations. Because water molecules absorb microwaves better, areas with higher water content absorb more microwave power than areas with lower water content, which is the characteristic of choosing heating. When microwave processing wood, cardboard and other products, this feature can be utilized to achieve uniform heating and drying.

7. Low energy consumption and low cost

Heat is directly generated inside the wet material, resulting in minimal heat loss and high thermal efficiency, with a maximum of around 80%. The energy utilization rate of microwave drying sterilization process is high, generally drying 250kg~300kg of drugs with a power consumption of 83KW and an energy utilization rate of 70%. Drying a certain material with electric heating consumes 100KW, while drying a material with the same humidity with microwave only consumes 20KW to achieve the same degree of drying. Microwave energy consumption accounts for only one-third of traditional steam and oven energy consumption, saving a lot of energy and reducing production costs.
