What are the factors that affect the replacement cycle of security filter cartridges?
(1) The raw water quality is unstable and fluctuates frequently, resulting in excessive particulate matter entering the filter element and shortening the cycle;
(2) The pre-treatment operation has poor performance, and the flocculants, scale inhibitors, and other additives added to the pre-treatment are incompatible with each other or do not match the water source. The viscous substances formed adhere to the surface of the filter element, resulting in a decrease in the effective filtration area of the filter element and frequent replacement of the filter element;
(3) The quality of the filter element is poor. The inner and outer apertures of the poor quality filter element are basically the same. In fact, only the outer layer plays an interception role, while the filtering aperture of the good filter element decreases step by step from the outside to the inside. The filtration accuracy of the innermost layer is 5 ± 0.5 µ m, with a larger pollutant holding capacity. It can ensure that the effluent water quality is qualified even after a long time of use.
