1、 Preparation before installation
1. Model matching
Confirm that the filter specifications are consistent with the equipment requirements to avoid poor sealing or filtration failure due to size or material discrepancies.
2. Integrity check
Check whether the filter element is damaged or deformed, ensure that the O-ring is intact and the sealing groove is clean.
3. System cleaning
Thoroughly clean the filter housing and piping to prevent impurities from contaminating the filter element.
2、 Installation process
1. Sealing treatment
Before installation, wet the O-ring with process fluid (such as water) to enhance sealing, insert the filter element vertically and ensure it is fully in place.
2. Exhaust operation
Slowly open the inlet valve and close it after the liquid overflows from the exhaust valve to avoid air resistance affecting the filtration effect.
3. Direction confirmation
The inlet and outlet directions of the filter element should be consistent with the flow direction of the equipment. Reverse installation may cause filtration failure.
3、 Operation and maintenance
1. Differential pressure monitoring
When the operating pressure difference exceeds 0.15MPa or the flow rate decreases, the filter element needs to be cleaned or replaced immediately.
2. Regular flushing
It is recommended to flush the filter element with a flow rate of 250L/h for 5-10 minutes every 10 inches to remove surface impurities.
3. Chemical compatibility
Avoid contact with strong oxidants (such as fuming sulfuric acid) and use continuously for no more than 15 minutes.
4、 Replace and Save
1. Safe disassembly
Before replacement, the system pressure should be drained and the filter housing should be slowly opened with tools to prevent material splashing.
2. Temporary Save
When temporarily discontinued, it should be soaked in 75% alcohol and sealed; Long term storage requires drying at 60 ℃ for 24 hours.
3. Disinfection requirements
The terminal filter element needs to be sterilized by moist heat (121 ℃/30 minutes) or soaked in alcohol for disinfection before use.
5、 Special environmental treatment
1. Low temperature protection
When the temperature is below 5 ℃, a heating belt should be installed to prevent condensation water from freezing and damaging the filter element.
2. Integrity testing
After every 50 cycles, diffusion flow testing is required, and if the diffusion value exceeds the initial 20%, it needs to be replaced.
