The principle and application of PP microporous folding filter cartridge

The principle of PP microporous folding filter is mainly based on physical interception. When the fluid passes through the filter element, larger particles, suspended solids, and other impurities will be trapped between the fibers on the surface or inside the filter element, thereby achieving purification effect. The folding design increases the effective filtering area of the filter element, improving its pollutant holding capacity and filtration efficiency.

1. Liquid inlet: The liquid to be filtered enters from one end of the filter cartridge.
2. Filtration: When liquid passes through a polypropylene microporous membrane, particles are trapped by the membrane, and clean liquid passes through the pore size of the membrane. The folding structure increases the filtering area and improves the filtering efficiency.
3. Liquid outlet: After filtration, the clean liquid flows out from the other end of the filter element, and most of the particles in the liquid have been removed.
4. Differential pressure monitoring: Filters are usually equipped with differential pressure gauges or sensors to monitor the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter. When the pressure difference reaches the preset value, it indicates that the filter element has accumulated a lot of impurities and needs to be replaced.
PP microporous folding filter cartridge is usually made of polypropylene material and has the following characteristics:
1. Chemical stability: It has good corrosion resistance and chemical stability, and is suitable for filtering various liquids and gases.
2. No leakage: processed and formed using hot melt welding technology, without any adhesive, no leakage, and no secondary pollution.
3. High purity: Both the outer and inner layers are made of high-purity polypropylene fibers or membranes to ensure filtration efficiency.
PP microporous folding filter cartridges are widely used in pre filtration, coarse filtration, and fine filtration of liquids and gases, such as in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and water treatment.
