With the severity of environmental pollution, people are increasingly concerned about water quality safety issues. As a type of deep filtration, titanium rod filter has its advantages and has become an important product in the field of water treatment. Due to its long usage cycle, many people overlook the importance of cleaning it, which not only affects the service life and filtration effect of the titanium rod filter element, but may also increase the risk of water pollution. Therefore, it is necessary for us to understand and master the correct cleaning procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of titanium rod filters.
1. Confirm the filter element that needs to be cleaned
Check whether the filter element has decreased filtration efficiency, decreased water flow rate, unclear water quality, etc., to confirm whether cleaning is necessary. It should be noted that it is best to turn off the water supply before cleaning to avoid pollution.
2. Prepare cleaning equipment and tools
The cleaning equipment can be manually cleaned or a machine with automatic cleaning function. Cleaning tools include cleaning brushes, cleaning solution, water buckets, etc.
3. Remove the filter element and clean it with a brush
After removing the filter element, rinse it with water first, then mix the cleaning solution and water in a 1:10 ratio, take an appropriate amount and pour it into the cleaning bucket. Put the filter element into the cleaning solution and gently brush it with a cleaning brush, being careful not to apply too much force to avoid scratching the surface of the filter element. For those stubborn dirt, you can strengthen brushing, but also be careful not to forcefully collide with the filter element to avoid damage.
4. Flip and rinse with cleaning solution
After removing the filter element from the cleaning solution, the liquid can be flipped and rinsed. Pour the cleaning solution into an empty bucket, invert the titanium rod filter element and rinse it in the cleaning solution. Repeat this process multiple times until no excess dirt is discharged from the cleaning solution. When rinsing, gently shake or tap the filter element to help remove dirt.
5. After cleaning, let it air dry naturally
After rinsing, air dry the filter element naturally. Do not use tools such as hair dryers to speed up the drying process to avoid damaging the filter element. After drying, return the filter element.
