What is the working principle of the rotary vacuum filter?
Date: 2024-01-16Read: 4
The rotary vacuum filter is a high-efficiency vacuum filtration equipment that operates continuously. The rotary vacuum filter can wash the filter cake multiple times and has the characteristics of large processing capacity, high yield, convenient speed regulation, continuous operation, and filter cloth regeneration. This machine is widely used in the separation of phosphoric acid and phosphogypsum in the phosphate fertilizer industry, and can also be used for the separation of coarse and uneven suspensions in metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and other industries.
The working principle of the flip disk vacuum filter is to place several independent fan-shaped filter disks on a horizontally placed circular inner and outer frame. Above the filter chamber of the filter disk, there are filter plates, filter screens, and filter cloth; There is a liquid outlet pipe on the inside of the filter chamber, which is connected to the staggered air disc located at the center of the inner frame. The slurry that needs to be filtered is continuously added from the upper feeding hopper. After filtration, the filtrate flows through the outlet pipe and the cross disc to the gas-liquid separator; After multiple washes and drying, the filter cake is flipped over and unloaded; After unloading, the filter surface is washed and regenerated, the filter disk is reset, and enters the next working cycle. The filter machine rotates horizontally for one cycle, completing the basic process of feeding - (back blowing) - filtering - washing - drying - discharging, etc. The speed of the filter machine can be adjusted to meet the needs of different process operations.
