The SIN-DO700 fluorescence method dissolved oxygen analyzer uses fluorescence to measure dissolved oxygen. The emitted blue light shines on the fluorescent layer, and the fluorescent substance is excited to emit red light. The oxygen concentration is inversely proportional to the time it takes for the fluorescent substance to return to the ground state. There is no oxygen consumption during measurement, the data is stable, the performance is reliable, there is no interference, and the installation and calibration are simple. Configure the DC20 controller to personalize the data measured by the sensor.
Fluorescence dissolved oxygen analyzer is mainly used in the following situations:
sewage treatment
In sewage treatment, it is necessary to monitor the dissolved oxygen content in water. However, substances such as H2S, pH, CO2, NH3, So4, CL -, and CL2 in wastewater often affect the determination of dissolved oxygen. The fluorescence based dissolved oxygen analyzer is not affected by interference, measures accurately, and is commonly used in sewage treatment.
Dissolved oxygen monitoring in power plants
Dissolved oxygen in condensate water of thermal power plant units is one of the main indicators for chemical supervision in power plants. Excessive or long-term unqualified dissolved oxygen in condensed water can accelerate the corrosion of condensed water pipeline equipment and the generation of iron scale in the pre furnace heating system. When the dissolved oxygen in condensed water exceeds the standard severely, it will also affect the heat transfer efficiency of the boiler heating surface and seriously threaten the safety of the unit.
Monitoring of seawater aquaculture water quality
The determination of dissolved oxygen is also necessary for aquaculture. The dissolved oxygen content must be greater than 5mg/L for more than 16 hours in a continuous 24-hour period, and must not be lower than 3mg/L at any other time. For salmon fish inhabiting frozen waters, the dissolved oxygen content must not be lower than 4mg/L at any other time. Dissolved oxygen levels above 12mg/L indicate an excess of oxygen in the water, making fish and shrimp more susceptible to bubble disease.
