Capsule filling machine is an industrial capsule filling equipment widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and health products. During the operation of the capsule filling machine, some malfunctions often occur, mainly in the following aspects:

2. The filling speed is slow because the pressure head is too tight;

4. The equipment is not functioning properly;

5. Machine components are damaged or loose. These all require professional technicians to inspect and repair. The specific method is as follows:

1、 Check the spring and sealing ring of the pressure head

If the spring is corroded or deformed, it will cause the pressure head to be too tight, the filling speed to be too slow, or even unable to fill. The corrosion of springs is related to the length of the spring. Generally, the length of the spring should be above 25 mm. When the length of the spring is less than 25 mm, a new spring should be replaced in a timely manner.

If the sealing ring ages or is damaged, it will cause the gap between the pressure head and the capsule to increase. Excessive gaps can cause the capsule to roll inside the capsule shell, thereby affecting the filling speed and quality. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the sealing ring in a timely manner or replace it with a new one.

If there is a gap between the indenter and the indenter seat, it will cause a slower filling speed. To avoid this situation, you can use a small screwdriver to open the groove at the bottom of the pressure head and tighten it. If there are foreign objects on the pressure head, they also need to be cleaned or replaced in a timely manner.

2、 Check if the filling valve is working properly

Check the filling valve of the capsule filling machine. If there is a leakage on the valve body, it should be replaced immediately, otherwise it may cause capsule blockage or glue leakage. During inspection, if the sealing surface of the filling valve is not smooth, it should be repaired and polished. If there is a leak, the sealing ring or gasket should be replaced. If there is no sound when the filling valve is working, it may be caused by rubber pad wear or component wear. After repair, multiple tests should be conducted to ensure the sealing effect.

3、 Check if the screws at the discharge port are loose

Inspection method: When the screw at the discharge port is loose, the discharge pressure of the equipment will decrease, causing the capsule to not be filled properly. In this case, the screw needs to be tightened.

If the capsule filling machine experiences the above faults, professional maintenance personnel are required to carry out repairs to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. In addition, the capsule filling machine should be regularly inspected and maintained during use. The specific measures are as follows:

1. Regularly check the fastening bolts of various parts of the capsule filling machine, and tighten them in a timely manner if any looseness is found.

2. During use, attention should be paid to observing the usage of various components of the capsule filling machine, especially the use of bearings and transmission gears.

3. Regularly replace bearings according to different production requirements. When the equipment needs to replace bearings, it should be operated by professional maintenance personnel to ensure that the replaced bearings can work properly.

4、 Check if the equipment is working properly

1. Check for any abnormalities in the equipment, and if there are any abnormalities, stop the machine promptly for maintenance.

2. Check if the power switch of the equipment is intact and if the power is connected.

3. Check the air pressure and motor operation of the capsule filling machine, and promptly address any issues found.

4. Check if the safety protection device of the capsule filling machine is intact, and replace it promptly if there are any problems.

5. Check if the lubricating oil of the capsule filling machine is sufficient.

5、 Regularly clean the equipment and keep it clean

After the capsule filling machine runs, internal oil stains, dust, and other impurities can affect the normal operation of the equipment and also cause damage to the equipment. Therefore, we need to regularly clean the equipment and keep it clean. Usually, we can wipe the parts with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol or gasoline, and then dry them with a clean cloth. During the cleaning process, do not use steel wire balls or other hard materials to wipe the surface of the parts. In daily maintenance and inspection, faults should be detected and dealt with in a timely manner. Only by strictly following the equipment maintenance system in daily life can we ensure the normal operation of equipment and improve production efficiency.
