Steel sleeve steel direct buried insulation pipe using silicon calcium tile and polyurethane composite insulation
This type of pipeline with structure A and structure B is also known as the "inner sliding" type "steel sleeve steel" steam insulation pipe, which consists of a working steel pipe, a drag reduction layer, a microporous calcium silicate tile insulation layer, a reflection layer, a polyurethane insulation layer, an outer protective steel pipe, and an outer protective layer. This structural product has been widely used in high water level environments such as Dalian, Guangzhou, and Xuzhou, and has mature application experience.
The main advantage of this product is its good insulation performance, which prevents extensive damage to the insulation layer in the event of core tube leakage.
However, during construction in a high water level environment, if the pipeline is invaded by water, the presence of the drag reduction layer material will cause the insulation layer of the pipeline to absorb a large amount of water, which will be contained in the silicon calcium tile material and cannot be naturally discharged. It can only be discharged through drying and moisture removal. The moisture removal cycle is long, which may lead to the loss of strength and serious decline in insulation performance of the outer polyurethane insulation material.
Due to the fact that good waterproof sealing measures are generally not used for the insulation layers at both ends of ordinary product pipelines, attention should be paid to the problem of water ingress during the construction process. To ensure the safe operation of the pipeline, if a structure B buried steam pipeline is used, effective waterproof sealing measures should be added at both ends of the pipeline when it leaves the factory. The recommended waterproof sealing method here draws on the sealing principle of sleeve compensators.
