Frequently opened and closed pipeline ports and valves. This is mainly reflected in dust pipelines in the power and chemical industries, which require regular opening, dredging, and then closing. This type of pipeline is generally above 300mm, and using flange covers and ordinary sealing gaskets with bolt locking will increase a lot of maintenance time and installation difficulty. If an inflatable sealing ring is used, all the above problems will be easily solved, and it is possible to lock it with very few bolts or even without knowing how to use bolts and only use buckles;
Automated canning of powdered food in plastic bags. Install an inflatable sealing ring at the canning port, cover it with a plastic bag, and the sealing ring will expand to tighten the plastic bag. After canning is complete, deflate and the plastic bag will automatically fall off. In this case, the canning efficiency is greatly improved;
As shown in the figure, the natural state of the sealing ring's elasticity is hidden in the groove. When the sealing ring is inflated through the air nozzle, it deforms due to internal pressure, and the middle part expands outward, tightly contacting with another sealing surface, thus playing a sealing role. When it is necessary to release the sealing state, high-pressure gas inside the sealing ring is discharged through the air nozzle, and the expanded part automatically retracts into the groove under the elastic action of the rubber, detaching from the sealing surface. Inflatable sealing rings are generally installed in grooves. During installation, it is important to ensure that all sealing rings are hidden in the grooves to prevent damage to the sealing rings when opening or closing the cabin door;
The air compressor equipped with inflatable sealing rings should be equipped with a limited pressure valve. When first used, the inflation pressure generally increases gradually from 0.1 MPa until the sealing effect is achieved, and should not exceed 0.6 MPa.
