For example:

(1) Require the use of silicone rubber material under high temperature conditions;

(2) When aging resistance is required, EPDM rubber should be used;

(3) In the presence of acid-base corrosion or oil pollution, nitrile rubber is used.

A common product type of inflatable sealing ring is generally classified by the specification, name, and cross-sectional shape of the inflatable sealing ring.

From the cross-sectional shape, there are various types of inflatable seals such as O-shaped, D-shaped, M-shaped, W-shaped, I-shaped, U-shaped, etc.

Inflatable sealing rings are mainly used in the following situations:

Sealing of gaps between large cabin doors and hatches. This type of cabin door generally has a large circumference, which is affected by processing and assembly accuracy or changes in environmental temperature, resulting in thermal expansion and contraction deformation, causing inconsistent or variable gaps that need to be sealed. The range of variation is generally 3-5mm or larger, and it is difficult to achieve the ideal sealing effect using ordinary sealing strips. In this case, a sealing product that can change with the gap is needed, and the inflatable sealing ring is a new sealing technology achievement successfully developed to meet this sealing requirement;

Frequently opened and closed pipeline ports and valves. This is mainly reflected in dust pipelines in the power and chemical industries, which require regular opening, dredging, and then closing. This type of pipeline is generally above 300mm, and using flange covers and ordinary sealing gaskets with bolt locking will increase a lot of maintenance time and installation difficulty. If inflatable sealing rings are used, all the above problems will be easily solved, and they can be locked with very few bolts or without bolts using only buckles;

Automated canning of powdered food in plastic bags. Install an inflatable sealing ring at the canning port, cover it with a plastic bag, and the sealing ring will expand to tighten the plastic bag. After canning is complete, deflate and the plastic bag will automatically fall off. In this case, the canning efficiency is greatly improved;
