1、 Installation preparation
1. Fixed positioning
Place the filter in a stable position and secure it to the side/base of the tank using suction cups or feet to ensure there is no risk of shaking.
Connect the import and export pipelines, check the sealing of flanges/clamps, and tighten the bolts appropriately (based on no leakage).
2. System check
Confirm that the voltage matches the motor, the protective devices (such as pressure gauges and exhaust valves) are intact, and the pressure gauge needs to be filled with clean water and locked.
When handling toxic or corrosive liquids, operators must wear protective clothing, face shields, and gloves.
2、 Start operation
1. Inject liquid and exhaust gas
Open the top exhaust valve, slowly open the inlet valve, and close the exhaust valve after the liquid fills the cylinder and the gas is exhausted.
If the viscosity of the liquid is high, it can be directly injected from above the filter cartridge to ensure that the pipeline is filled.
2. Start running
Jog the motor to confirm that the pump direction is correct before officially starting.
The turbidity of the incoming water should be less than 1 NTU. If it exceeds the standard, stop running and check the pre-treatment equipment.
3、 Operation monitoring
1. Parameter control
During normal operation, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet should be less than 0.1MPa; If the pressure difference is greater than 0.1MPa, the filter element needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Regularly monitor the water quality at the outlet and immediately shut down for troubleshooting in case of any abnormalities.
2. Safety precautions
Avoid severe pressure fluctuations and prevent damage to the filter material.
Monitor the status of the sealing ring under high temperature or corrosive working conditions.
4、 Backwash and filter maintenance
1. Backwash trigger
When the pressure difference continues to exceed the standard, close the inlet and outlet valves, open the exhaust valve and waste outlet to release pressure and discharge liquid.
2. Filter cleaning
Remove the filter element and soak it in acid wash (such as oxalic acid or citric acid), gently scrub to avoid deformation.
Non reusable types such as polypropylene melt blown filter cartridges need to be replaced directly.
3. Replacement process
After emptying the liquid from the cylinder, open the top cover, remove the old filter element, and clean the cylinder;
Insert the new filter element completely into the porous seat and secure it with a pressure plate (do not tighten the nut too tightly).
5、 Shutdown maintenance
1. Short term shutdown (≤ 3 days)
Run at least twice a day for at least 30 minutes each time, and disinfect and rinse before restarting.
2. Long term shutdown (>3 days)
Remove the filter element, dry it, seal it, and store it. Drain the liquid from the cylinder and clean it.
Check if the sealing ring is aging, and conduct a comprehensive inspection after more than 1000 pressurization cycles.
Through standardized operation and regular maintenance, precision filters can ensure long-term stable operation in high demand scenarios such as chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
