The maintenance of hydrogen peroxide sterilizers should follow systematic operating standards, which can be divided into two levels: daily maintenance and periodic deep maintenance:
1、 Key points of daily maintenance
1. Appearance and sealing inspection
Before daily use, it is necessary to check the appearance integrity of the equipment, with a focus on confirming that the door sealing ring is not deformed or damaged, to ensure the airtightness of the sterilization chamber. At the same time, check whether the power cord and pipeline interface are normal.
2. Key component cleaning
Use a dry cloth to wipe the surface of the equipment, avoiding the use of strong cleaning agents or liquids that may seep into the sterilization chamber. Regularly clean the filter screen of the indoor suction and exhaust ports, and replace it immediately if it is blocked or broken.
3. Vacuum pump monitoring
Check the oil level and color of the negative pressure pump every week. If the oil level is abnormal or the color is cloudy, replace the pump oil and clean the oil mist separator. During operation, the oil level should be maintained at the centerline of the observation window.
2、 Periodic deep maintenance
1. Quarterly maintenance project
Clean the steam pipeline filter and built-in oil pollution filter;
Check the function of pressure bearing components such as safety valves and pressure gauges.
2. Annual Professional Maintenance
Professional institutions are required to calibrate safety valves and temperature gauges, and replace aging components such as sealing rings and filters. Suggest signing a regular maintenance agreement with the equipment manufacturer.
3、 Safety operation standards
1. Consumables Management
Special sterilization bags, non-woven fabrics, and other consumables must be used, and medical non-woven fabrics should not be reused more than twice. Hydrogen peroxide cartridges need to be operated with protective gloves, and discarded cartridges should be treated as medical waste.
2. Operation monitoring
After starting up, it is necessary to observe the self checking status of the device and determine any abnormalities based on the display screen parameters, running sound, and odor. After sterilization, it is necessary to verify the discoloration of the chemical indicator card and the results of biological monitoring.
