1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection: Confirm that the concentration tank, condenser, vacuum pump and other components are intact, the sealing ring is not aged, and the calibration of pressure gauges, thermometers and other instruments is effective.
2. Material pretreatment: Clarify the properties of the material (such as viscosity and thermal sensitivity), and dilute high viscosity materials in advance to avoid blockages in the pipeline.
3. System pre cooling: Start the condensation device 30 minutes before startup, and some equipment needs to be equipped with dry ice to enhance the cooling effect.
2、 Operation process control
1. Vacuum degree adjustment: In the initial stage, slowly evacuate to above 53.3kPa before feeding to avoid material splashing; During the concentration stage, maintain a vacuum degree of 86.7-96.1kPa and control the temperature at 50-60 ℃.
2. Temperature and stirring: The heating steam pressure is stable at 98.0~147.1 kPa, and the stirring speed is adjusted according to the material viscosity to prevent local overheating and coking.
3. Foam treatment: if the foam rises sharply, the air valve can be opened briefly for suppression, and closed immediately after it is normal.
3、 Safety and Maintenance
1. Explosion proof measures: When operating flammable solvents, nitrogen protection should be provided, and the equipment should be well grounded.
2. Shutdown sequence: first destroy the vacuum, then turn off the heating, and open the cover after the rotor has completely stopped to avoid residual heat sensitive materials.
3. Cleaning standard: CIP cleaning is required after each use, and any residue on the inner wall should be wiped with a soft cloth. Scratching with hard objects is prohibited.
4、 Special scenario handling
1. High sugar materials: Endpoint determination should be combined with refractometer detection to avoid excessive concentration leading to crystallization.
2. Biological agents: Maintain a sterile environment throughout the process, and collect and process the condensate separately.
5、 Common fault response
1. Vacuum leakage: Check the flange sealing surface or replace the O-ring.
2. Low condensation efficiency: Clean the condenser scale or supplement the cooling medium.
