Steam generators are widely used in fields such as food processing, food machinery, packaging machinery, pharmaceuticals, and biochemistry. The industry believes that when using a steam generator, in addition to choosing equipment produced by reputable manufacturers, users, especially those who are just starting out, should pay extra attention to certain precautions during operation in order to achieve better results. Generally speaking, the following precautions should be taken when using a steam generator.

1、 Before use, users should carefully check whether the power supply, voltage, water supply and drainage, safety valve, pressure gauge, water level gauge, and gas supply pipe accessories are sensitive and easy to use. Close the drain valve and open the water supply valve to check if the water pump is stuck. If the water pump is stuck, remove the fan blade cover, turn the motor shaft to a flexible state, and confirm safety before operation.

Afterwards, it is also important to keep the valve face away from the front when opening and closing the steam valve to avoid accidents caused by steam water rushing out. When shutting down, the steam valve should be closed first, and then the water valve should be closed.

2、 After setting the steam pressure, the user presses and holds the start/stop button for 3 seconds, and the machine starts normally. When the set steam upper limit is reached, the solenoid valve will automatically open to release steam.

However, users should be aware that the steam outlet of the steam generator cannot be fully opened. It is necessary to maintain a balance between steam outlet and water inlet in order to achieve better continuous steam outlet and normal operation. Otherwise, all steam outlet at once will affect the normal steam use effect in food production and processing.

3、 During the operation of the steam generator, users should pay attention to the inspection of various equipment parts, observe the pressure and water level. Please do not leave your post without permission. If the pressure of the steam generator rises to 0.2MPA and is maintained for 2 hours, then stop burning and let the pressure gradually reach zero. If the water temperature is below about 70 ℃, open the drain valve and release all the water in the pot.

4、 After shutdown, the power switch must be turned off, and the pressure should be reduced to 0.1MPA before starting to discharge. At the same time, the inlet valve should be closed. It is recommended to discharge the sewage every 24 hours. The method of discharging the sewage is to press the discharge button and open the solenoid valve. At this time, turn on the sewage switch inside the machine, and the water inside will flow out until it is dry, and then it can be closed.

5、 Users should pay attention to regularly checking the temperature of the steam generator and motor casing. When the mechanical failure of the steam generator or the heating of the motor exceeds 60 ℃, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection. When the steam generator is running normally, the steam pressure should not exceed the specified working pressure, and the safety valve should be checked once a week.

6、 The steam generator should be placed in a well ventilated area as much as possible to ensure the normal operation of the machine. Extend the steam generator outlet pipe as much as possible to keep the machine 3-5 meters away from the steam, which can greatly extend the service life of the equipment.
