Maintenance methods for laboratory wet granulation machine
Date: 2025-12-27Read: 5
The laboratory wet granulation machine is a key equipment in pharmaceutical and material processing, used to mix powder with binder to produce uniform particles. Its efficient operation depends on the maintenance of the system. Reasonable maintenance can not only extend the lifespan of equipment, but also ensure the stability and safety of experimental results. The maintenance methods need to be subdivided according to the time cycle, covering three dimensions: daily, semi annual, and annual, with each stage focusing on different operational points.
1. Daily maintenance: Ensure immediate safe operation
Daily maintenance is the first line of defense against malfunctions and should be carried out before and after each startup and shutdown. The operator needs to check the overall cleanliness of the machine, use 75% alcohol to wipe the inner wall of the pot and the surface of the machine body, and eliminate the risk of residual contamination. The compressed air pressure needs to be stable at 0.6Pa, and the valve should be adjusted to avoid excessive or insufficient pressure affecting equipment performance. At the same time, check the rotational flexibility of the mixing blade and cutting blade, and promptly repair or replace them in case of abnormalities to prevent uneven material handling. The airtightness of the sealing ring also needs to be verified, including the pot cover and discharge port, to ensure no leakage; The flexibility of the discharge piston's advance and retreat, as well as the rotation direction of the stirring blade, are equally crucial to avoid operational interruptions. Finally, verify the accuracy of the mixing and cutting timer to ensure precise process time control, and fill in maintenance records for traceability.
2. Half year maintenance: Focus on key component inspection
Half year maintenance focuses on in-depth inspection of worn parts and lubrication systems. The operator should evaluate the wear of the motor synchronous belt, replace the damaged synchronous belt, and adjust the tensioning mechanism to ensure transmission efficiency. Add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil into the reducer, with the oil level not lower than the centerline of the dipstick, to prevent dry friction of mechanical components. The internal connection fixing screws of the chassis need to be checked for looseness, and lubricating grease should be added to the oil cup to enhance structural stability. The cleaning of the distribution box cannot be ignored, including dust removal, fastening of wiring terminals, and checking the operation status of the frequency converter to ensure electrical safety. After completing the inspection, update the maintenance records in a timely manner to provide reference for annual maintenance.
3. Annual maintenance: comprehensive cleaning and system upgrade
Annual maintenance is the golden time for deep maintenance of equipment, which needs to be carried out after cutting off the main power supply. The operator should thoroughly clean the interior of the host, remove oil stains and residual powder, and maintain hygiene standards. Electrical components and instruments need to be thoroughly inspected, and aging or damaged parts should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid potential malfunctions. The connection status of the circuit also needs to be evaluated, and loose or corroded issues should be addressed. If necessary, the circuit should be replaced to ensure the reliability of the electrical system. The performance of key components such as anti rotation blocks needs to be identified, and defective ones should be replaced; When reassembling the equipment, adjust the clearances between each component to the optimal state. Finally, disassemble the main motor to clean the interior, eliminate dust accumulation, and fully record the maintenance process, providing a foundation for subsequent cycles.
4. General precautions: Key points throughout the entire cycle
Regardless of the time period, general precautions are the foundation of maintenance. The equipment should be placed in a dry and clean environment, away from corrosive gases such as acids, to prevent damage to the components. Before long-term use, it is necessary to wipe the whole body and apply rust proof oil, and cover it with a cloth for protection. Monthly routine inspection of the flexibility and wear of worm gears, worm gears, and bearings, and timely repair of defects. After each use, clean the rotating drum and remove any remaining powder from the bucket to prepare for the next operation. The comprehensive implementation of these measures can significantly improve equipment reliability and experimental efficiency.
Through meticulous maintenance in stages, the laboratory wet granulation machine can maintain efficient operation for a long time, providing solid support for scientific research and production.
