Safe operation method of hollow blade dryer

The operation method of the hollow blade dryer involves start-up preparation, operation, and shutdown steps, and must strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation. The specific steps are as follows:
1、 Preparation before startup
1. Equipment inspection
Check whether all connecting bolts and anchor bolts are tightened, whether the pipeline sealing is good, and eliminate potential leakage hazards.
Confirm that the gearbox lubricating oil is sufficient (add according to the instructions for the first use), and whether the bearing lubricating grease (such as compound calcium based grease ZFG-1) is in place.
Manually rotate the disc to check if there is no friction between the propeller shaft and the cylinder wall, ensuring that the inlet is unobstructed and the outlet is closed.
2. Electrical and heat source system inspection
Connect the power to run without load, test whether the indicator light and contactor respond normally, and ensure that the grounding wire is well connected.
Connect the steam/heat transfer oil pipeline, check the status of valves, pressure reducing valves, and safety valves to ensure no air leakage.
2、 Start up and preheating
1. No load operation test
Start the motor idling and confirm that the blade rotation direction is correct (usually the direction indicated by the equipment), without any abnormal vibration or noise.
2. Preheating operation
Slowly open the steam/heat transfer oil valve: With the propeller shaft rotating, first open 1/3 of the return oil valve, then 1/3 of the inlet oil valve, gradually increasing the opening.
Preheating time ≥ 30 minutes, to evenly heat the jacket and propeller shaft, and control the pressure not to exceed the rated value (such as steam pressure 0.4-1.0MPa).
Preheat to the process temperature (such as 150 ℃) before feeding.
3、 Run operation
1. Feed control
Continuous operation: evenly feed, control the host current to ≤ 70% of the rated current, and avoid overload operation.
Intermittent operation: The amount of material is limited to submerging the blade, and the discharge valve is opened after reaching the drying time.
It is strictly prohibited to mix in hard objects: to prevent block shaped hard objects from jamming the gap between the blade and the cylinder, causing equipment damage or leakage.
2. Operation monitoring
Adjust the induced draft fan valve to control the humidity in the drying room and maintain uniform drying of materials.
Observe the material status and confirm whether the material flow is smooth through the equipment observation hole to avoid blockage.
4、 Shutdown steps
1. Stop feeding: After the material in the standby chamber is basically emptied, close the heat source valve (steam/thermal oil).
2. Equipment cooling:
Continue running the propeller shaft until the body cools down to room temperature (to prevent deformation of the main shaft), and then stop the main shaft rotation.
Turn off auxiliary equipment such as circulating fans and conveyor motors.
3. Condensed water and cleaning:
Drain the condensed water from the steam pipeline and clean the residual materials and dust inside the equipment.
5、 Key points of safety and maintenance
1. Security protection:
Wear protective equipment when operating high-temperature thermal oil to avoid direct contact with valves and prevent burns.
Equip the site with fire-fighting equipment and regularly inspect its effectiveness.
2. Regular maintenance:
After the first use, the lubricating oil of the reducer needs to be replaced after one month of operation, and it should be replenished every 2-3 months thereafter.
Bearing lubrication: Add lubricating grease (such as ZFG-1) every 2-3 days.
Long term shutdown: Start the equipment every 15 days and run it for at least 20 minutes to prevent component jamming.
3. Core operating principle: It is strictly prohibited to stop the machine during the circulation of the heating medium to avoid uneven deformation of the spindle due to heating; The materials must be evenly fed, with zero mixing of hard objects, to ensure the safety of the gap between the blade and the cylinder.
