The pressure steam sterilizer is of the electric heating and automatic pressure control type. It has the advantages of reliable disinfection and sterilization, convenient use, energy-saving and durable, and low cost and good quality. It is an ideal equipment for medical and health, scientific research and other units to sterilize surgical instruments, dressings, vessels, culture media, etc.
Precautions for using pressure steam sterilizer:
1. Regularly check electrical connectors to avoid looseness, overheating, or malfunctions;
2. The safety valve handle should be pulled 1-2 times a week to maintain its sensitivity;
3. When steam is input into the sterilization chamber, the valve at the front end of the condensate drain should be slowly opened to allow the condensate drain to continuously discharge the air and condensate in the sterilization chamber, ensuring the sterilization effect;
4. Sterilizers should be operated in a flawless condition and regularly protected by dedicated maintenance personnel or familiar business personnel to ensure normal operation and avoid accidents;
5. Before each use of the sterilizer, the water level should be checked to see if there is sufficient storage capacity. If the low water level alarm indicator light is on, it is necessary to immediately check the water level. After adding water, the button should be pressed to restore normal heating operation, and the alarm indicator light should also be extinguished;
6. Sterilizers should be kept clean and dry, and should be wiped clean after use to avoid corrosion. Lubricating oil should be added to rotating parts in a timely manner;
7. Special attention should be paid to whether the conductive column of the water level glass tube is in the center of the water level glass tube. If it is tilted, it will cause the electric column in the water level glass tube to not function properly. When the water level is low, the power supply cannot be immediately blocked. It is necessary to regularly check whether there is scale accumulation on the electric column, because scale will increase resistance, so it should be removed immediately to avoid accidents;
8. Electric heating type should be grounded properly to ensure safety;
9. The operating procedures should be hung next to the sterilizer for reference and compliance.
