Functional beverage filling production lineDue to the involvement of multiple processes such as bottle washing, filling, sealing, and labeling, as well as strict requirements for hygiene and accuracy, sudden failures can easily lead to batch defects and production line shutdowns. Predictive maintenance can significantly reduce unplanned downtime by perceiving equipment hazards in advance and intervening accurately. Its core implementation path is as follows:
1、 Building a multidimensional data collection system
The foundation of predictive maintenance is full chain data monitoring, which requires the installation of sensors on key equipment to achieve real-time collection of status data.
1. Core equipment sensing deployment: Install vibration sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and flow sensors on the servo motor, metering pump, sealing head of the filling machine, spray arm and conveyor chain of the bottle washing machine, and the drive shaft of the labeling machine's label compartment. Real time monitoring of core parameters such as equipment vibration amplitude, bearing temperature, pipeline pressure, and filling flow rate is required. If the pressure fluctuation of the metering pump of the filling machine needs to be controlled within ± 0.02MPa, an alarm will be triggered if it exceeds the threshold.
2. Production data linkage collection: Docking with the SCADA system of the production line, synchronously collecting process data such as filling accuracy, sealing of caps, and bottle body damage rate, and associating equipment operating status with product quality data. For example, when the sealing head vibrates abnormally, synchronously tracking the rate of sealing leakage and defective products can achieve collaborative monitoring of equipment status and production line efficiency.
3. Supplementary monitoring of environmental parameters: Deploy temperature, humidity, and cleanliness sensors in the workshop to monitor the hygiene environment of the filling workshop. High humidity can easily cause motors to become damp, pipelines to rust, and excessive dust can contaminate beverages. Environmental data needs to be included in the maintenance warning system.

2、 Building an intelligent warning model
Based on the massive data collected, advanced prediction of equipment failures is achieved through algorithm modeling.
1. Feature threshold calibration: Based on the equipment's factory standards and historical operation and maintenance data, calibrate the health threshold of each component. For example, if the normal temperature range of the servo motor bearing is 30-55 ℃ and the vibration amplitude is ≤ 0.15mm, when the parameters continue to approach the threshold, the system will automatically mark it as a "potential hazard".
2. AI algorithm trend prediction: Introducing machine learning models to conduct time-series analysis of sensor data and identify fault evolution patterns. For example, the wear of the sealing components of a metering pump can lead to a gradual decrease in pressure. The model can predict the remaining service life of the sealing components and generate replacement work orders in advance based on the pressure decay rate; Regarding the blockage of the spray arm of the bottle washing machine, the flow attenuation curve can be used to accurately predict the blockage time and trigger the cleaning command.
3. Fault library linkage matching: Establish an equipment fault case library, compare real-time monitoring data with historical fault characteristics, quickly locate hidden danger types, such as automatic matching of typical faults such as "clutch wear" and "gear meshing deviation" when the sealing head torque is abnormal, and provide targeted maintenance plans.
3、 Implement precise maintenance interventions
The core of predictive maintenance is to carry out maintenance as needed, avoiding excessive maintenance and insufficient maintenance.
1. Hierarchical maintenance strategy: Prioritize maintenance based on the level of hidden dangers, and arrange for shift gap handling for mild hidden dangers (such as minor pipeline leaks); Moderate hidden dangers (such as abnormal temperature rise of motor bearings) require shutdown and maintenance within 24 hours; Immediate activation of emergency plans for severe hazards (such as sealing failure of filling valves), switching to backup equipment, and organizing emergency repairs.
2. Pre management of spare parts: Based on the warning model, predict the service life of spare parts, establish a safety stock of core spare parts (such as filling valve sealing rings, sealing head clutches, labeling machine labels), and complete stocking before the spare parts reach their service life to avoid prolonged downtime due to missing parts.
3. Full process maintenance loop: After maintenance is completed, it is necessary to retest the equipment parameters and enter them into the system, compare the operating data before and after maintenance, and verify the maintenance effect; Simultaneously updating the fault database, optimizing the threshold of the warning model, improving the accuracy of subsequent predictions, and forming a closed-loop management of "monitoring warning maintenance review".
