The precautions for using a twin-screw conical mixer include the following aspects:
• Initial operation inspection: After 10 hours of initial operation of the high-speed mixer, a comprehensive inspection should be conducted to ensure that all connecting parts are securely fastened, and if necessary, re tightened. At the same time, check the tension of the V-belt to ensure that the motor seat plate locking bolt is tightened to prevent loosening.
• Regular inspection and maintenance: The equipment should be regularly inspected and maintained, especially the inner walls and discharge holes of the mixing container, to keep them clean. Equipment that has not been used for a long time should be coated with rust proof grease. When vulnerable parts are damaged, they should be repaired and replaced in a timely manner, and electrical equipment such as heaters should also be replaced immediately.
• Pre start inspection: Before starting, the rotor should be rotated by hand to check whether it runs smoothly, whether there are any collisions inside the casing, whether the rotation direction of the rotor is correct, and whether the lubrication of the motor and double helix mixer is good.
• Operating specifications: The mixer should not be replaced with pulleys at will to avoid excessive or insufficient speed affecting the mixing effect. After starting, it should be idle for 2-3 minutes to confirm that there are no abnormalities before feeding. The feeding should be uniform to avoid noise and bearing overheating. If there are any abnormalities, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.
Lubrication and cleaning: Regularly add lubricating oil to the gearbox, and the oil level should be at the oil level mark. When stopping for a long time, the drive belt should be removed. The equipment is easy to clean and facilitates the replacement of mixed material varieties.
• Safe operation: Staff should stand on the side of the equipment to prevent bouncing garbage from injuring the face. The feeding should be uniform to avoid accidents caused by hard objects such as metals and stones entering the crushing chamber.
