Pressure spray dryer: focus on operation and maintenance details and maintenance methods
Date: 2025-10-28Read: 16
The maintenance of the pressure spray dryer should follow the principle of "prevention first and timely treatment", focusing on the core modules such as the atomization system, heating system, gas-solid separation system, etc. Through regular inspection, cleaning and component maintenance, it can ensure the stable operation of the equipment after each startup, reduce production losses caused by sudden failures, and adapt to the needs of various industries for the stability of the drying process.
1、 Routine maintenance of pressure spray dryer
1Pre startup inspection and preparation
Check the sealing condition of the connection parts of the feed pump and atomizer, and confirm that there is no leakage or air leakage; Check the valve status of the heating system and confirm that there is no blockage or damage; Check the firmness of the connection of the fan and motor power lines, and listen for any abnormal noise from the bearing parts; Check the zeroing status of pressure gauges, temperature gauges, and other instruments to ensure accurate detection data.
2Monitoring and fine-tuning during operation
Observe the spray state of the atomizer in real time. If the droplets are uneven and the atomization angle is offset, adjust the feed pressure in time; Monitor the temperature inside the drying tower. If the fluctuation exceeds the set range, adjust the heating power or air inlet speed to prevent product clumping or excessive moisture; Record key parameters such as feed rate, inlet air temperature, and outlet air temperature every 2 hours for easy traceability of operating status.
3Cleaning and organizing after shutdown
After shutting down, first turn off the heating system and wait for the drying tower to cool down to room temperature. Open the tower door and use a soft bristled brush or compressed air to blow away residual powder on the inner wall to avoid accumulation of moisture and clumping; Disassemble the atomizer nozzle, rinse with clean water or specialized solvent to remove residual materials and prevent blockage; Clean the feeding pipeline and filter to ensure unobstructed flow, while wiping off dust on the surface of the equipment, and organizing the power lines and pipelines.
2、 Regular maintenance of pressure spray dryer
1Weekly maintenance: component cleaning and status check
Disassemble the feed filter and air inlet filter, clean the reusable filter material or replace it with a new one to avoid blockage that may cause insufficient feed or excessive dust content in the air inlet; Check the sealing components of the atomizer and replace them promptly if they are aged or deformed to prevent liquid leakage; Check the tension of the fan belt and adjust the tensioning device when it is loose to avoid slipping and affecting the speed.
2Monthly maintenance: in-depth inspection of core components
Check the pump body and impeller of the feed pump. If there is wear, corrosion, or impeller gap, repair or replace them in a timely manner; Check the surface of the heating tube, and if there is scaling, clean it with a descaling agent to ensure heating efficiency; Check the filter bags or cartridges of the gas-solid separation equipment, replace them with new filter materials when they are damaged, and avoid a decrease in the recovery rate of finished products; Add lubricating oil to the bearings of motors and fans to reduce friction losses.
3Quarterly maintenance: System performance and security checks
Check the insulation layer of the drying tower, repair it in a timely manner if it is damaged or falls off, and reduce heat loss; Test equipment safety protection devices, simulate overheating and overload scenarios, and confirm that the alarm device can trigger shutdown normally; Inspect the welding parts and valves of the pipeline, check for corrosion and leakage, replace aging valve seals, and ensure system sealing.
3、 Fault prevention and emergency response
1Common fault prevention
To avoid clogging of the atomizer, it is necessary to ensure that the feed material has been pre treated and the nozzle must be cleaned after shutdown; To prevent heating system malfunctions, regularly clean the scaling of the heating tube to avoid excessive voltage fluctuations; To reduce fan failures and avoid long-term overload operation of equipment, control the fan speed within the rated range.
2Emergency response steps
If the atomizer suddenly becomes blocked, immediately reduce the feed pressure and stop the machine, disassemble the nozzle for cleaning, and do not forcefully operate to prevent motor overload damage; The temperature inside several drying towers suddenly rises and exceeds the limit. Immediately shut down the heating system, increase the air intake, and stop feeding. After cooling down, check the heating system and temperature controller; If there is a serious leakage of liquid or gas, immediately shut down the machine, cut off the power and gas sources, investigate and repair the leaking area before restarting.
