What is the working principle of a fully automatic water softener?

Raw water softening: Using strong acid cationic resin, calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water are removed through ion exchange, reducing the hardness of the raw water.

Backwash: Rinse the expired resin from bottom to top with water to remove suspended solids and loose resin from the resin layer.

Salt absorption: By controlling the fully automatic control valve, the saturated salt solution in the salt tank is sucked into the resin exchanger, and the ion exchange principle is applied to restore the exchange capacity of the failed resin after backwashing.

Slow washing: Low speed water flow mixed with salt solution permeates into the gaps of the exchange resin to fully ensure the regeneration efficiency of the exchange resin.

Upwash: A large and fast water flow washes the exchange resin to remove the regenerated salt solution from the exchange resin.

Return water: The system automatically replenishes water to the salt tank.
