Testing principle:
W3/062 adopts the principle of moisture permeable cup weighing method for testing. At a certain temperature, a specific humidity difference is formed on both sides of the sample. Water vapor passes through the sample in the moisture permeable cup and enters the dry side. By measuring the change in weight of the moisture permeable cup over time, parameters such as the water vapor transmission rate of the sample can be determined. During the weight loss method, the testing chamber is on the dry side, while during the weight gain method, the testing chamber is on the wet side.
