Recently, Labthink has launched the C850H integrated water-insoluble substance detection system, marking a new era of functional integration, intelligence and efficiency in the field of water-insoluble substance detection. This system is designed and manufactured based on the principle of weight method testing, strictly referring to pharmacopoeia, chemical reagents and other testing standards. It is professionally suitable for the detection of water-insoluble substances in various pharmaceutical excipients and chemical reagents.
The limitations of traditional methods for determining insoluble substances in water
The traditional method for determining insoluble substances in water has limitations such as cumbersome operation, low efficiency, and long time consumption.
The testing process requires the experimenter to dissolve a quantitative sample in hot water at a specific temperature and volume, and then filter it using a glass crucible that has been treated with a constant weight at 105 ℃. During this process, it is necessary to wash the filter residue with hot water until the sample body adsorbed on the filter residue is completely removed (separated). Then, the glass crucible carrying the filter residue is placed in an oven for drying, and weighed to constant weight using an analytical balance to obtain the mass of insoluble substances.
The entire process involves multiple movements of the glass crucible, repeated start-up of the electric oven, and continuous weighing operation of the balance, with scattered instruments and cumbersome operation. Moreover, due to the dense number of manual operation nodes, especially during the transfer weighing process of the crucible, it is susceptible to fluctuations in environmental temperature and humidity, resulting in a significant risk of errors in the test data.
C850H function integration creates "unmanned" intelligent testing
The C850H integrated water-insoluble substance detection system has successfully constructed an "unmanned" intelligent testing mode through innovative integration technology. It integrates the core experimental steps of filtration, washing, drying, and weighing at room temperature to constant weight in the traditional water-insoluble substance detection process. Experimenters only need to place the sample into a glass filter crucible, and the system will start immediately, automatically performing filter residue washing and waste liquid discharge operations, achieving the full process of rapid drying, efficient cooling, and weighing at room temperature in sequence.
In the weighing process, Labthink's new (separated) technology achievement "fully automatic robotic arm" played an important role as the core component of the system. It simulates the flexible movement of human arms and can independently complete a series of operations such as precise positioning and rapid movement weighing of glass filter pots without manual intervention, greatly saving testing time.
The "unmanned" intelligent testing mode based on functional integration has completely changed the traditional mode of dispersed equipment operation for laboratory personnel in detection. It not only significantly reduces the intensity of manual operation, but also effectively controls the testing errors caused by manual operation, significantly improving the repeatability and reproducibility of detection data.

Massive data with precise traceability
C850H is equipped with 25 glass filter pots, generating massive amounts of data. So, how can we ensure the accuracy of the test data?
The system is equipped with a German imported touch electronic balance, which establishes data rights (separation) with 0.05mg ultra fine repeatability, accurately capturing subtle quality changes. Testers witness the weighing trajectory throughout the entire process through a visual balance window, achieving data traceability. The weighing chamber is independently designed to eliminate the impact of high temperature and humidity on the electronic balance by establishing isolation barriers, thereby further ensuring the stability of weighing. The system supports quick disassembly and calibration of balance components, enabling accurate measurement in a short period of time and significantly reducing downtime maintenance costs.
Security compliance rights (separation) apply
Due to the long detection cycle of water-insoluble substances and the high-risk characteristics of the test solution, the safety protection of operators is particularly important. C850H adopts a fully enclosed test chamber to avoid the escape of harmful gases. The innovative nitrogen circulation device works in conjunction with an independent electronic control system to achieve "human-machine separation" between the operator and the drying weighing host, ensuring that high-risk gas detection is fully controlled throughout the process. The system is equipped with a closed and efficient reagent recovery system, which can simultaneously achieve the goals of safety protection and green environmental protection.
This system meets the requirements of multi domain rights (separation) standards:
Pharmaceutical field: meets the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia for the determination of water-insoluble substances in pharmaceutical excipients
In the field of chemical products, it meets the requirements of ISO 6353-1, GB/T 9738, GB/T 23948 for the determination of chemical reagents and water-insoluble substances in chemical products
The launch of the C850H integrated water-insoluble substance detection system not only brings revolutionary breakthroughs to the field of water-insoluble substance detection, but also provides strong technical support for food and drug safety, chemical reagent quality control, and other fields. Labthink will continue to uphold the concept of innovation and professionalism, committed to providing customers with higher quality and more efficient products and services.
