The puncture force of a medical needle tip is the force value generated by the needle tip passing through the skin. This force value can help manufacturers clearly grasp the sharpness of the needle tip. Needles for different purposes have different standard requirements. For example, the puncture force of an injection needle tip is evaluated by using a puncture force testing device to measure the maximum peak force of the injection needle when it passes vertically through the simulated skin at a specified speed.
The injection needle tip puncture force tester is suitable for testing the puncture force of different medical needles, and the standard requirements for different purposes of needles are also different. The instrument can set values according to different requirements without the need for other equipment.
The testing method for the puncture force tester of injection needles:
1. Place the test needle and simulated skin at 22 ℃±; At least 24 hours at 2 ℃ and conduct the test at the same temperature;
2. Clamp the simulated skin appropriately on the fixture without applying any tension or pressure to the simulated skin;
3. Install the test needle on the device, with its axis directly facing the appearance of the simulated skin, and the needle tip pointing towards the center of the circular puncture area;
4. Set the moving speed to 100mm/min;
5. Activate the testing equipment;
6. During the membrane puncture process, simultaneously measure the sharpness value or record the force/displacement map;
7. When the maximum peak value is less than or equal to the regular value, determine whether the puncture force of the detection needle meets the requirements.
