In order to improve the cleaning quality of objects, appropriate cleaning processes and non ODS cleaning agents that do not pollute the environment, as well as corresponding supporting equipment, should be selected based on the nature of the object being cleaned and the type of dirt. Recently, a large amount of research has been conducted in this area both domestically and internationally, with significant investment of funds, manpower, and resources, and corresponding results have been achieved. The selection of cleaning process for ultrasonic cleaning machine refers to the selection and preparation of cleaning method, cleaning solution temperature, ultrasonic frequency, ultrasonic power density, cleaning time, and cleaning solution. The appropriate cleaning solution has a significant impact on the cleaning effect and environmental protection of ultrasonic cleaning machines. Due to the fact that the cleaning mechanism of ultrasonic cleaning machines mainly utilizes cavitation, the selection of cleaning solution must not only consider the material, oil stains, and mechanical impurities of the cleaning parts themselves, but also ensure that the viscosity and surface tension of the cleaning solution are low to facilitate cavitation of the cleaning solution; Sometimes additives such as cosolvents, stabilizers, defoamers, and electrostatic removers need to be added.
Recently, the requirements for environmental protection have become increasingly strict. According to the Montreal Protocol, the use of various ODS cleaning agents must be completely banned. Therefore, various alternatives to ODS cleaning agents are currently being developed and tested. Therefore, ultrasonic water-based cleaning, ultrasonic semi water-based cleaning, ultrasonic hydrocarbon solvent cleaning, as well as corresponding processes and related equipment research and development are also being carried out simultaneously. At present, there is still a considerable process to fully replace ODS cleaning agents, but it is believed that with the continuous efforts of the ultrasonic and chemical solvent industries, a non ODS ultrasonic cleaning technology that is both cleaning and environmentally friendly and economical will be widely applied.
