1、 Operating procedures
1. Confirm that the ON/OFF power switch is set to ON.
2. Insert the power cord into the power outlet.
3. If using the optional foot switch, insert the plug into the socket on the rear panel. Confirm that the plug is securely and properly inserted.
4. Check the cleanliness of the mating surface between the transformer and probe or straight micro end, as well as the cleanliness of the screw holes. Check if the screw is tightened.
5. Assemble the probe or straight micro end assembly (consisting of a connector and a straight end) onto the transformer by hand, and tighten it securely with the accompanying hand.
6. Fix replaceable tips, extenders, or conical micro tips onto the probe using a movable or flower carrier.
7. Connect the converter cable to the power unit.
8. Install the transformer and probe components onto the laboratory bracket. Fix the fixture only onto the transformer housing with a diameter of 1/2 inch (63 mm). Do not fix the fixture to other parts of the transformer/probe assembly.
2、 Maintenance and upkeep procedures
1. If the probe must come into contact with a solid sample, please use a 20mm diameter stainless steel tube cut into 70mm lengths. Do not use glass tubes.
2. The micro tip can only come into contact with liquid and must not come into contact with other objects.
3. Before each use, place the probe tip in water or alcohol and turn on the power for a few seconds to remove any residue.
4. The probe can be disinfected with a high-pressure steamer, immersed in boiling water, or disinfected with disinfectant.
5. Do not use conical micro tips on connectors. Do not use straight ends without connectors. When handling low surface tension liquids, probes with threaded ends and replaceable ends should not be used.
