1、 Precautions for preparation before startup
•Equipment status inspection: Check the connection status of each component of the equipment one by one, and confirm that there is no looseness, deformation or damage to the pressing wheel, punching die, feeding device, etc; Check the lubrication system to ensure that the lubricating oil is sufficient, the oil quality meets the requirements, and there is no leakage.
•Material preparation and verification: Confirm that the physical properties such as particle size and humidity of the two-color material meet the requirements for tablet pressing, to avoid tablet pressing failures caused by material clumping, over drying, or over wetting; Check the feeding hoppers of the two materials separately to ensure that there are no impurities mixed in and that the inner walls of the feeding hoppers are clean and free of residue.
•Safety device confirmation: Check whether the safety protection fence, emergency stop button and other safety components of the equipment are intact and in normal working condition, ensuring that the protective fence is tightly closed and the emergency stop button is responsive.
2、 Precautions for operation during operation
•Parameter control and observation: Set the tablet pressing speed, pressure, feeding amount, and other parameters according to production requirements. After starting the equipment, run it at low speed first to observe whether the thickness, hardness, and two-color layering of the tablets are uniform; During operation, avoid adjusting parameters arbitrarily. If adjustments are needed, gradually fine tune and observe changes in tablet quality in real time.
•Equipment operation monitoring: Continuously monitor the sound of equipment operation. If there is any abnormal noise (such as metal friction sound, impact sound), immediately stop the machine for inspection; Observe the material conveying situation of the feeding device to avoid material blockage caused by material breakage or excessive feeding, and ensure stable supply of the two materials in proportion.
•Operator specifications: During operation, hands must not be close to running pressure wheels, molds, and other components. If it is necessary to clean material residues or inspect the interior of the equipment, the machine must be stopped and the power must be cut off first; Regularly inspect the appearance of tablets and promptly remove unqualified products with cracks, uneven layering, and rough surfaces.
3、 Maintenance precautions after shutdown
•Equipment cleaning: After stopping the machine, promptly clean the material residues in the feeding hopper, tablet pressing room, and discharge port. Use special tools to clean the powder in the gaps of the die to avoid residual materials from getting damp, clumping, or corroding equipment components; After cleaning, check whether the punching die is worn or deformed, and replace it promptly if any problems are found.
•Component maintenance: Regularly inspect the transmission belts, bearings, seals, and other vulnerable components of the equipment to check for any looseness or cracks in the belts, any abnormal noise or heating in the bearings, and any aging or leakage in the seals. If any abnormalities are found, repair or replace them promptly; According to the equipment manual, regularly replenish or replace lubricating oil.
•Recording and storage: Keep good records of equipment operation, including startup time, shutdown time, operating parameters, fault conditions, maintenance content, etc; When not in use for a long time, the die should be disassembled, cleaned, and stored properly. The surface of the equipment should be covered with a dust cover to prevent dust and debris from entering the interior of the equipment.
4、 General safety precautions
•Operators must undergo professional training and be qualified before they can take up their posts. They should be familiar with the structure, working principle, operation process, and safety risks of the equipment; New employees need skilled personnel to provide on-site guidance during operation to avoid equipment malfunctions or safety accidents caused by improper operation.
•If there is a sudden shutdown, abnormal noise, material leakage, or abnormal tablet quality during the operation of the equipment, the emergency stop button should be immediately pressed, the power should be cut off, and the cause of the fault should be investigated. Forced maintenance or adjustment is not allowed while the equipment is in operation.
•The workshop needs to maintain good ventilation to avoid the accumulation of large amounts of material powder; Operators are required to wear protective equipment such as dust masks and gloves, and take personal protective measures to prevent powder inhalation or skin contact that may cause discomfort.
