Tea is a medicinal beverage that can be traced back thousands of years. Although tea, like water, is a familiar beverage, health conscious consumers are seeking a non-aqueous drink instead of carbonated or high calorie drinks. 80% of consumers consider themselves a 'tea drinker'. However, modern people who are more adventurous are not so easily satisfied, and a "simple" tea drink cannot kill them at all.
The 'not simple' tea beverage lies in the complexity of the process, one of which is the clarification treatment. If no clarification treatment is carried out, filamentous precipitation will begin to appear 4-7 days after the beverage is filled and sealed, gradually increasing over time. At present, the clarification methods for tea beverages mainly include fine filtration, ultrafiltration, adding adsorbents, precipitants, embedding agents, and adding enzymes.

Although fine filtration is widely used, it takes a long time, has low efficiency, and has average results. Although the addition of adsorbents, precipitants, and embedding agents has good clarity for tea beverages, it can have a significant impact on the taste and result in certain additive residues, posing quality and safety risks to tea beverage products. Enzyme treatment improves the clarity and taste of tea beverages, but the treatment conditions are difficult to control and the degree of treatment is difficult to grasp. Long enzyme processing time or excessive enzyme dosage can affect the clarity of herbal tea beverages and cause the finished product to become sour.
In contrast, the membrane separation process has no phase change, no chemical reaction, and no secondary pollution, making the Literide membrane separation equipment more suitable for the production process of tea beverages. It is a pure physical process with low energy consumption and good sterilization effect, which can effectively reduce the possibility of bacterial contamination in the later stage of fermentation broth. It does not require filter aids, produces fewer pollutants, and meets the requirements of clean production for energy conservation and emission reduction.
Literide can customize cost-effective process packages according to user needs, conduct comprehensive analysis and reasonable design of the entire membrane separation equipment, and effectively control the design, manufacturing, production and other process links of the membrane separation equipment to achieve the dual combination of economic performance and technical advantages of the entire process package, thereby providing customers with both professional and comprehensive process package design.
