The all stainless steel tube centrifuge is a device that separates mixtures based on centrifugal force. Its core principles and structural characteristics are as follows:
1、 Structural composition
1. Drum:
The core component is a slender high-speed rotating drum, usually made of cylindrical or conical stainless steel material, with no internal holes designed to withstand high-strength centrifugal forces.
The top of the drum is equipped with a flexible spindle, and the bottom is a damping bearing, forming a stable rotating structure.
2. Drive system:
The motor drives the drum to rotate at high speed through belts, gears, or directly, and the speed can reach thousands to tens of thousands of revolutions per minute.
3. Feed and discharge system:
The material is injected into the drum through the bottom inlet, and the separated liquid phase is discharged layer by layer through the top outlet, while the solid settles on the inner wall of the drum.
4. Protection and Materials:
All stainless steel material (including casing and drum) provides corrosion resistance, and double-layer steel plate protection ensures safety.
2、 Working principle
1. Formation of centrifugal force field:
When the drum rotates at high speed, centrifugal force is generated, which is proportional to the rotation radius and the square of the angular velocity.
2. Material separation process:
The suspension enters from the bottom of the drum, and solid particles with higher density quickly settle onto the inner wall of the drum to form a sediment layer. The clarified liquid flows axially along the drum and is discharged from the top.
For liquid-liquid separation (such as emulsions), liquids with different densities will form concentric layers and be collected separately through separation devices.
3. Settlement and slag discharge:
Trace solid deposits need to be manually removed after shutdown, suitable for materials with low solid content and fine particles.
