1. Preparation before operating a tube centrifuge
(1) When the percentage of impurities or solid phase in the liquid is less than 0.5%, the machine exhibits ideal separation effect. If the percentage is higher than 0.5%, it is recommended to perform clarification treatment first.
(2) The feed is usually from a high-level tank, and for liquids with high viscosity, a pump can also be used for feeding.
(3) The determination of import pressure depends on the properties of the material when it enters the centrifuge through the nozzle, but at least half of it needs to be sprayed upwards onto the drum. If the pressure is too low, some liquid will not enter the drum and will flow out through the overflow port in the lower inlet bearing seat. If the pressure is too high, it will affect the separation quality and may also cause machine vibration.
(4) The inner diameter of the feed pipe should be large enough to be controlled by a valve, and users can adjust it according to the flow rate and production capacity.
(5) The separator is equipped with three different diameter nozzles, and the choice of nozzle depends on the separation quality and yield of the material. If the quality is high and the yield is low, a smaller nozzle should be used, and vice versa.
2. Startup operation of tube centrifuge
(1) Connect the motor of the separator to the power supply and wait for about 50 seconds for the drum to reach its operating speed. The starting current of the motor is generally around 30A.
(2) After the machine reaches full speed, the feed valve can be opened. First, turn down the valve to allow the liquid to be clarified to flow out of the collection tray. Then, open the valve to the predetermined flow rate for liquid clarification. Do not stop feeding during the separation process.
(3) During the separation operation, observe whether the liquid flow rate at the outlet is normal and whether the clarity meets the clarification requirements. When the liquid at the outlet begins to mix, stop the machine and discharge the slag.
3. Shutdown of tube centrifuge
(1) Before shutting down, the feed valve must be turned off first. Only when the liquid collection tray stops flowing can the machine be shut down, the power be cut off, and the machine can be shut down freely.
(2) Slag discharge and cleaning drum
Contrary to the assembly procedure, remove the drum and put on a protective cap, place it on a fixed frame, use a handle to open the bottom shaft of the drum, use a hook to remove the three wing plate, use a scraper and shovel to remove the sediment and solid matter inside the drum, and clean the tube centrifuge thoroughly.
